So much fun, lost track of time.

My friend chizzy got me World of Final Fantasy for my bday and it arrived today. I streamed the game play and when I started getting sleepy I stopped recording and then saw that I had played for 5 1/2 hours xwx,

Game is just so adorable >w<

SO! anyone else enjoy themselves so much that time just passed them by? ovo,

Boris 06-26-2017 10:38 PM

Actually, yes, I have... everyday on this site.

Potironette 06-27-2017 12:02 AM

That's wonderful Boris!

Ever since summer vacation has started it feels like that all the time regardless of what I'm doing--because everything I'm doing I want to do!

Boris 06-27-2017 03:07 AM

I think it's because I'm having fun with this event.

Kaderin Triste 06-27-2017 03:20 AM

Honestly, there's not a lot that holds my attention long enough for me to get lost for that long...
But once in a while, my loom knitting projects or reading. And back when I jad internet, like....8 years ago or so, I could get lost for hours/all night playing Maplestory. XD

Boris 06-29-2017 12:23 AM

I wanted to play maple story once upon a time, but then I was "meh" and decided to not invest in it.

Serra Britt 06-29-2017 12:35 AM

I can get lost in time while drawing, if I manage to not distract myself.

Some games do a pretty good job there as well.

Lawtan 06-29-2017 12:48 AM

Usually I lose time when I am upset or frusterated. But, I have enjoyed some things recently. :)

Boris 06-29-2017 12:51 AM

What have you enjoyed recently, Lawton?

Lawtan 06-29-2017 12:53 AM

Oh! Well, there's an couple of old games I got working. (Earthbound, Neverwinter Nights, Touhou, Royal Edoma Engine, etc.)
I also am working on art again. :)

Boris 06-29-2017 01:20 AM

Oh cool! That sounds fun!

I got into it when it was still good. The cute graphics drew me in and it wasn't quite as bad with the pay to play type bs.
When they decided to add the Pirate class is when I really started to lose interest. And the last time I had logged in, there was so much other crap that I was completely lost.
I mean...if I had internet, would I still play it? Probably. But it really wouldn't hold my interest like it used to. More of just something to do when I'm bored.

Awen Moonshine 06-30-2017 06:46 AM

When I first started playing I'd get sucked into playing WoW for hours without realizing and I get it now when playing Minecraft. We accidentally stayed up until 3am playing last weekend ^_^;;

I also get lost in books pretty much every time I read because I'm quite picky about the books I choose ^_^;;

A pirate class... I wanna be a pirate! I think the reason why I didn't join was because I had to download something.

I did that with one of the Harry Potter books and my dad got ad at me since it was late at night... I don't remember what time it was, though.

Kaderin Triste 06-30-2017 01:56 PM

Ah yeah, that makes sense. The download and then frequent updates for events and stuff was honestly kind of a hassle most of the time.
The pirate class was alright, but it was pretty much just an overpowered version of the ranger (bow/crossbow) class. And people were really being dicks with it and constantly stealing kills just because they could. Which, honestly, kill steals happened a lot anyway just because it was generally hard to find a server that wasn't packed with people except at like 1-6am, but people weren't really as bad then.

Awen Moonshine 06-30-2017 04:38 PM

I did much the same with the Harry Potter books too ^_^ I read Order of the Phoenix in about 30 hours in one sitting. My nan got pissed off with me but I didn't care ^_^;; At present the Sarah J. Maas books are the ones keeping me awake late <3

I didn't have my own computer and used my mom's, and now that I have my own device, it doesn't support certain downloads.

I think I was reading The Order of the Phoenix and stayed up late at night... what are the Mass books about?

Kaderin Triste 06-30-2017 05:51 PM

Haha...I actually had downloaded Maplestory on my parents computer at the time...
I have my own computer now, but not internet, so my gaming is limited to. Well...nothing currently because I just got a new-ish used laptop from a friend who refurbished it for me and it has windows 10, which doesn't have the usual card games and stuff on it...

Boris 06-30-2017 06:53 PM

I would have gotten in trouble, and when my mom got a new computer, the old one got moved to the garage, and that one didn't run well, so, yeah.
