Everyone had enough to eat, warm clothes for the winter, a roof over their head, and free wi-fi. Uh, wait. *mumbles to someone in the background* Did they already have wi-fi in the Middle Ages? *clears throat* Ahem. Anyway. As the legend goes, it was an idyllic place for everyone to dwell in. Until one day... http://i66.tinypic.com/eu3bjt.gif The beast trampled through the kingdom, sacked each village, ate most crops and scorched the remaining ones. Its hunger seemed insatiable and its thick scales and fiery breath defended the beast against the knights' swords. Many set out for a quest to frighten the wild one away, but in the end even the bravest among all heroes had failed. Finally the monarch made a decision. If it was not possible to kill the fiend, maybe together the stalwart villagers could tame it. Feed its appetite. The monarch offered delicious foods, and the beast agreed. Peace returned to the land. Fruitful earth brought great harvests, the kingdom grew stronger and wealthier than ever before. The beast was still there, dwelling in a dark forest, but people made sure to keep it well fed all the time. Sometimes the beast would grow bored of a certain food, and then everyone helped to find new treats. As the years went by, rumor spread that feeding the beast would bring good luck, and indeed several farmers who often offered food gained notable wealth. |

New Taste "Your majesty!", the scout exclaimed. "The beast is roaming free again in the village and it has just eaten a corn on the cob. But it still looks hungry. If we bring more food, I'm sure the beast will return to the forest without hurting anyone." |
*offers up some home made corn bread to the Beast*
The beast carefully sniffs at the corn bread, then gobbles all of it.
*offers some of my sister's homemade cream corn, made with real cream and fresh corn niblets*
I will give chocolate ice cream to the beast.
I wearily offer Green Bean Casserole to the beast
I try not to spill a bowl of clam chowder for the beast.
I bring specialty garlic bread to offer!
*Makes a big serving of Polenta for the Beast and offers it*
*offers up a handful of jellybeans*
Tsukiko don't forget to BOLD your food item
*offers up Corn Chowder* |
Er, sorry, all I've got left is this soup I didn't finish from dinner.
The beast wolfs down the homemade cream corn, but then its taste for vegetables seems satisfied, because it runs after the chocolate ice cream. Why it eats green bean casserole after dessert, remains a mystery. Maybe it dines backwards, because then it gobbles the clam chowder, which would've been entree to other folks. The garlic bread works perfectly as a side dish.
But what's that? The beast turns its head away from polenta! And neither it seems interested in jellybeans. It turns around to eat a bit of corn chowder. And then it only wrinkles its nose at the soup. Guess you have to finish yourself. |
Hm, so it must not be after clam chowder...
Maybe it just has peculiar tastes in soup? It did both like the clam chowder and corn chowder...
I bring it bacon wrapped scallops!
I'm told they are tasty, but I am not a scallop person and do not know. |
...Whoops. I didn't even notice clam chowder was already a thing.
As I asked the beast its opinion about bacon wrapped scallops, it grunts loudly. Unfortunately I don't know what it said, but I can report it ate all of them.
*timidly feeds the beast some succulent georgia peaches*
No idea how succulent georgia peaches vary from regular peaches, but maybe the beast can tell us after it finishes eating them. Well, at least if someone understands its grunts. I still don't.
*reverentially places a platter of corn and bacon sandwiches before the beast, and backs away, still bowing and scraping*
The beast sure seems delighted about your offer and eats corn and bacon sandwiches with great appetite.
I offer the beast some Blueberry Muffins for breakfast
*waves a Bacon Lettuce Tomato Sandwich at the Beast* Toasted of course I aint no heathen
*offers up some bacon butter pancakes*
Well... I supposed I could share my fancy grilled cheese sandwich with the beast. I've been looking forward to it all week so I hope it's worthy
I'll offer thin mint cookies to the beast, People tell me everyone loves them.
Ohhhh cookies *gives White chocolate chip cookies*
The beast looks reasonably delighted. It's obviously snack attack time, because within mere minutes there's nothing left of blueberry muffins, bacon lettuce tomato sandwich, bacon butter pancakes, fancy grilled cheese sandwich, thin mint cookies and white chocolate chip cookies. Then it trods away to rest, but who knows how soon it'll get hungry again?
I place a nice medium rare prime rib next to the beast's resting spot.
I could've sworn the beast had enough to eat, but somehow it also finds room for the medium rare prime rib.
Well I mean it was prime rib. and it was free. Who wouldn't eat it regardless of how full they feel XD
...I do have a feeling the beast would also eat rotten meat XD
Rotten meat is one thing. But would it eat Lutefisk ?
I would answer that, however according to the rules you have to wait until 3 other players offered food. If the beast gets a heart attack from overeating tonight, it should better look as if it was someone else's fault. *smirk*
-holds Lutefisk offering behind her back until someone else shows up-
*offers up A Massive Bowl of Pho, Complete With Homemade Rice Noodles, Seasonal Fresh Veggies and Wagyu Beef Slices to the Beast*
