Regardless of your real life gender or appearance, like... I imagine you look somewhat similar to your avi behind the screen too. Even if I KNOW what you look like in real life, I will still substitute whatever you avatar looks like.
It makes life so much more interesting when people have really bizarre avatars. |

Er, might be because I was once staff, but IMO there is zero admin-phobia on this site. Which is one of the reasons I love it.

It's a relief to see admin willing to interact with everyone, not just their favored few as well to be honest. There's nothing more intimidating than saying hi and trying to be polite to someone in charge of something and them giving you the cold shoulder.

I'm always appalled whenever people say things like "[site name's] developer just ignored me". Guess I've been spoiled by Tris.

It's not really a great tactic for building a community, not to mention you never know if that person that the dev just ignored could be the kind of person with enough disposable income to donate 100 bucks a month to the site or something. Just treat everyone with respect. >.<

I did ask about it and was told that it couldn't be "too extreme", which I'm taking to mean that peekaboo haor color is probably fine. Hairstyles that look normal, but have the under layers shaved are probably okay....
I dunno...I'm not too adventurous with my look these days. |

I went through a short period of time in university where I change my hair color every two weeks. It was glorious!
Maybe someday some rich individual will come along and love Tris so much that they give you thousands of dollars each month just to dev. |
