Hello

Hello, it's nice to meet you all. I just started today, and I like it a lot here. I'm still really slow at figuring out a few things but I'm getting it. I'm here to kill some time and relax and meet new people. Call me Pirouette or Nightmare or Piro. I'm a girl, and I'm into games, art, fictional stories. *bows* :s-smile:

Gallagher 03-11-2018 12:31 AM

someone sure decked you out fast

mdom

bluebird 03-11-2018 12:32 AM

Hi and welcome to Trisphee, Pirouette! Nice to meet you here. :D What types of games/art/fanfic are you into? We got subforums for that if you want to gush about a particular work.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Everyone is nice here~

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 12:48 AM

Yes Gallagher, it was mdom <3 lol

Hi Bluebird! Nice to meet you too! :) I'm into a lot of games, From fan favorites like pokemon, undertale, kingdom hearts, final fantasy, fire emblem, to little known games like attack of the friday monsters. So just throw a dart and chances are I've probably played it lol. I love all kinds of art, specially ones that just use color in the perfect way. I look at art all the time, cheers me up. And I was referring to normal fictional stories, but I like fanfictions too lol, I just have a really really hard time picking out good ones. I go for any genre so long as it has a plot that keeps me surprised.
What about you what kinds do you like? :)

X'D lol Gallagher! Yes Undertale is the best! Sans, Papyrus, Flowey and the fandoms 500 million different fan versions of Gaster are my favorite.

Gallagher 03-11-2018 01:00 AM

i'm a sans slut/rper, lmao. can't stop won't stop.

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 01:11 AM

I don't blame you for not taking a break, you might get arrested.

No that's bad lol, Anyways, I haven't rp'd in a long time but if you ever want to share/test out bad puns, I'm your girl.

Gallagher 03-11-2018 01:18 AM

-SWEATS-

i actually

don't play a very punny sans lmao

or one that fits most of fanon tbh someone save me

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 01:21 AM

Oh that's okay, there's a bunch of different variations of him, and I like a lot of them (Canon and Wilyart Insomnia Comic version art top of my list, but I digress). What's the closest well known version that you play of him? Or do you want to describe it?

Gallagher 03-11-2018 01:25 AM

i'm honestly not that well versed in specifics, only general strokes.

the one i play is not the most punny and more heavily a prankster, he has 0 memory of resets not even dreams but his basement is shrouded in magic that allows its contents to bypass resets, he's very judgment heavy like he's killed as many or more babbus than asgore, and also he has a hyper-metabolism thing going on that means he always has to eat always has to sleep always has to burn off magic or else things get a bit not good

bluebird 03-11-2018 01:28 AM

Omg it's awesome you know so many games! I love Undertale, Mother 3, Ib, Witch's House, Metal Slug 3, and most things with old school graphics. I think I probably have a pixel addiction haha. Have you played Adventure Bar Story. Can you tell me if Fred x Siela happens.

I love all types of art really, from basic phone wallpapers to clever shadows made from random objects. If it looks nice, I'll spend a few moments admiring. :)
Same with fiction. I go for any genre as long it's interesting! (But since my local library relocated farther away, I've been reading less fiction and more nonfiction aka textbooks lol)

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 01:31 AM

That sounds like a lot of fun. People don't show him doing pranks as often as they should considering the number of them he pulled on us players. And the zero memory and stuff makes sense. We do need more versions like yours.

I love Ib, and mad father, and a lot of the games vgperson has translated lol. And nothing wrong with pixel games, unless they are as hard as battle kid or shovel knight. Because god.

Yes, I have played that game, and no I can't tell you what happens because I got very far and then was like 'why is the plot not progressing shouldn't the game be over, it's been x days' and it's sitting in my get to eventually pile lol. EDIT: I got to lvl 21 bar rank 5 in 11:37 playtime

I tend to avoid my library with a passion because I don't want to see anyone I recognize from growing up lol. I usually grab random books from B&n or will find random sites that have authors post their own original works that I can read for free, or have books that are in the public domain available for free by pdf. But back on track, textbook you say? What are you studying at the moment? I know I've tried studying italian from a textbook but man is it hard alone lol.

Trust me, I know how that is. Sometimes the good stuff just gets put off for a decade or more lol. At least if you are as bad about that stuff as me. It you ever end up making it a comic or a written story though, be sure to hit me up first ;) I'd offer my help but, I'm bad about actually sitting down doing art or writing projects and not blanking out or hiding it away :s-ugh: lol.

Gallagher 03-11-2018 01:55 AM

haha, i keep telling myself i'm gonna work more on my fanfic, but it seems unlikely at this point tbh. at least until i get practice with shorter stories :s-sweat:

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 02:02 AM

There's only a few pieces of advice I can give. It's one of those things, you won't be as impressed with your own work because you know what will happen in the story/every trick you employed and what all the symbolism means, and your reader doesn't. Therefore they will always be way more amazed and interested than you. And you literally gotta set a schedule and do it. Sit yourself down at a certain time on a certain day or days of the week and write at least one paragraph. Lastly, just do it and throw it out there as soon as you are done, you'll always go 'that was bad' when looking at your old work, but trust me someone is going 'omg this is so good.'

And if I'm honest, there's a lot of works that when I look back on that are both mine and others that were god-like at the time, that now that I'm older and more skilled are like 'lol this is so bad, but I'll never like it less than when I first read/saw it'. You know? :s-cool:

Gallagher 03-11-2018 02:30 AM

i do definitely need to work on scheduling better. huge weakness of mine, for writing and just about everything else.

honestly, though, my good writing i'm always happy with, even after years have passed. i don't LOL IF YOU DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY GATHER AS MUCH i don't have confidence issues with my writing. rather, i have an expressive language disorder that makes it difficult for me to write a lot of times. i'm good at it when i can manage, it's just the managing part that gets me.

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 02:53 AM

Beat that disorder in the face! lol no j/k. :s-shy: I wish I had your confidence. It's hard to come by, cherish it. :s-wink: And enjoy your ability to create in the future, even if you are having trouble managing it when you try. I ended up having rl stuff smash my ability to do things for extended periods of time, and by god, if I don't see giant tone and quality differences when attempted a project with very very small babysteps.

As for scheduling I'd be a hypocrite to tell you how to since like, it's 1:43 a.m. where I am lol, and I'm the type of person that will run on 30 minutes - 4 hours of sleep if something is important to me to get done. lol I just know all the great artists and writers I admire all, have mentioned at least one point in their life that they do their stuff daily. And the only time I ever managed that daily, was when I was an unstoppable immortal teenager.

Gallagher 03-11-2018 02:57 AM

time zone buddies, aww yiss

yeah i always hear the same, but i'm so bad at actually keeping schedules. example! 2am and i'm not sleeping.

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 03:04 AM

I know right? Forums and new friends will do that. At least it's the weekend. ^^

Gallagher 03-11-2018 03:04 AM

the weekend means nothing to me, lmao

KittyBeary 03-11-2018 08:10 AM

Hey there! :) Welcome to Trisphee!!

Undertale is quite fun. XD I'm more of a Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts person, though. And I LOVE all things Animal Crossing. XD

Francisco 03-11-2018 12:22 PM

Hey, welcome to Trisphee! Hope you have a good time here. :D

Pirouetting Nightmare 03-11-2018 03:13 PM

Poor Gallagher, you need a break.

Hi kitty! Thanks for the welcome, Kingdom Hearts is top of the list, such a good series, just takes 500 years for them to put out the next game lol. FFVI, FFVII Crisis core are my favorite Final Fantasies, what about you? Also I love animal crossing new leaf, I'm just terrible about playing it at all anymore.

Hi Insomniak! Thanks for the welcome, it seems like a really nice place. :)

KittyBeary 03-11-2018 11:51 PM

My favorite FFs are FF III and VIII. :3 I do like VII a lot too, though! <3

Yeah, I've kinda neglected NL since Pocket Camp came out. ;u; But they keep releasing new events. Dx
