Nox is creeping right around the corner, and in preparation, we'd like to invite our lovely users in setting up this year's activities! But this isn't the Bank of Trisphee — this time, things are serious!

If you're interested in making this year's Nox an event to remember, make sure you read all of the rules below and send in your application. If you just wanna hang out for the hype, feel free to talk about what you'd like to play! Who knows? Someone might even borrow the idea you were too lazy to do yourself!

• Each participating user may only have 1 thread
• Each thread can have multiple games
• We will review all games prior to the start of the event
• Only approved final drafts will be given funding
• Approved games can have both event currency and retired items as prizes!

what's the event currency or is that too confidential?
the event theme and currencies usually inspire my shtposts threads.

Is it like last year that we buy the secret thingie in the shop that could hold any of 50 items and then there's a bundle too?

ok i got ideas but idk how to execute them well, so here are what i came up with:

1. a murder mystery game, a whodunnit type of situation. 8D
2. a haunted house with multiple rooms/games
if u want to be extra spooky, the games tell a story of how the house became haunted rather than just random fun games mixed together.
3. an ungodly forum maze. you start in one thread. you click a link in that thread which leads to a random post with 3 puzzles. this is where paths split in the maze. solving puzzle 1 would give you numbers to a thread topic and its page number. when they visit that page, they would have to scroll and find the post with another puzzle. solving puzzle 2 would be exactly like solving puzzle 1, but it would lead to a completely different thread and page number. puzzle 3 would also lead u somewhere completely new (or the same if you want.) u see where i'm going here? oh yeah, there would be some dead ends/paths so we can feel xtra salty.
TL;DR: it's like my S[M]ack Quest but without direct links to choices. you can only move via manipulating the url. the numbers you need for the url can only be obtained by solving small puzzles.

I mean, let's suppose I own the maze thread. What would stop someone from going to my profile and checking my posts to look for the answer?

I mean, maybe the maze could be set up connecting to posts in other threads.

...maybe there is one such maze already...
