This one is for everyone, but music lovers in particular may find that they feel at home, because I too love to chat about music!

The Ruby Room name comes from a song called Ruby Room. I use it as my regular hangout, because it seems fitting. Those who know me and those who don't are equally welcome here! Come in, sit down, have a drink, have a snack!

It sure is! It's always funny to me when I see someone I know by name, on a site to which I am rather new.

It is kind of for me, too. ^^

However, it is usually brand new sites that I am joining, so everyone would be new.

Still it is nice because some sites draw from different places than others.

True. Like take for instance, Crysandrea. It got a lot of users from gaia, and currently has a lot of drama. Kinsaki seemed to have gotten a lot of users from menewsha, and is rather calm.

A little too calm for my taste, if you ask me. Haha, I like crysandrea, they have a lot of items and something to do other than posting XD.

This and Gaia are the only avatar sites I'm a part of. xD

xD I started out with the same here, but decided to go with something shorter/simpler.

That sounds yummy <3. I had a good breakfast yesterday with the family, went to a place with a breakfast bar. They have yummy bacon.

Yes leaves. In the front yard. It's not a big yard, but my sister was supposed to help except that she's not feeling well... grah.

Yum o: A few of us went to this breakfast/pastry place in LA for breakfast a while ago, I wanted to order everything!
Raking leaves....one of the benefits of not having real seasons down here. xD

I like my seasons *clings to Michigan winter*. Raking is fine, I often feel good after doing some work, but... it's just the getting it going.

I do want to have snow and stuff, I admit. xD I'll be going farther north to go to school soon, but eventually I want to go up into Oregon/Washington. And possibly grad school in Chicago or Toronto. xD

Getting started is always the hardest part. ><

It's not always fun. Sometimes walking out in the bitter cold is... difficult, and being out in it for awhile actually slows down your movements. But I would be kind of lost without it. If I were to go to Florida or somewhere in the tropics, I would be so weirded out experiencing December at 80 degrees or so fahrenheit. I'm not sure how I would deal with the southern hemisphere, in a region where they have cold winters and warm summers, but... flipped according to what I am used to.

I at least want to experience it for a bit to see if I like it or not. It does get 'cold' here in the winter time... albeit our cold is anything below like 55 degrees. xD Last Christmas there was actually ice on our lawn in the morning, which was weird.
I can't even think of any place in the southern hemisphere I'd want to live in anyway. xD;;

Well, there is Australia and htere is South America. Those are the only major places firmly in the southern hemisphere (not in tropical regions where they don't have seasons anyway).

Yeah, that's not cold... that's like jacket weather.

It snowed every day in February here. #.#

Aw, that's pretty crazy. We generally don't have THAT much snow here.

To us southern californians, it's bundle up weather. xD Imma die when I get to snow territory.

Haha sorry, I disappeared mahself, had to go rake those leaves! There weren't so many so it didn't take long. Part of the time was me duct taping the end of the rake because last time the rake gave me a blister on my hand cause it was bare wood.

Got cold for a couple days, but today it's all right. I went out in a light jacket and was comfortable.
