Single, Dating, Engaged, Married...
 

So I've made this thread on a few different sites.

I'm always wondering about the ages and relationship status on avi sites.

Mainly because I always feel a tad old.

So I'll start...

I'm 24 and married. I've been married one year and 5 months.

I'm dating someone for 1 year ^.^ with plans to marry in the future

I'm only 17.... rather young .___. and unable to do stuff... yet.. I dont identify with people my age much. Rather, I feel ageless. Why is age necessary again? We should judge based on experiences... not the number of years you have walked on this earth.

I agree..People freak out when some one is dating some one way older or younger and instantly judge. I understand the whole must be legal to so some things but once your "legal" why should it matter?

I am married for one year, two months and I just turned 26.

I'm single, and currently not looking too hard.

I'm 19 and I've been in a stable relationship for 1 year and 2 months. We do talk about the future sometimes and how we both feel we are right for each other.

I'm 17 and not looking for a lover yet. :3

I'm waiting for the right one and someone that can take care of me.

I'm 19 and been single all my life. xD Had a crush or two but nothing major or that ever turned into anything. I figure that I'll be moving within the next two years, so there's no point in looking right now anyway.

I feel old by comparison with you people.

I've been married four and a half years. I have a son that's three and a half years old.

And Duchess, if you're going to measure according to experiences... sheesh, that only makes me feel older, because I can say without exaggeration that I have nearly 23 years of computer programming experience. Many of you, your parents hadn't even MET yet when I wrote my first line of code.

Duchess, I totally thought you were older than me! Just goes to show you're right about feeling ageless. I've always had friends who were a lot older or a lot younger than me, too. I never really got along with any of the girls my age, so I never felt my age.

oh, and I'm 18 and single. boring Lucid is boring.

I'm 22 and single. I really don't have time to go on dates at this point in my life, otherwise I probably would. I... don't know if I'll get married considering it's not legal for 2 girls to marry in most places.

I'll be 22 on Dec. 15th, and I'm single... not for lack of trying though.

I'm probably the oldest person in the site. I'm 32 with three kids all over the age of 10. Currently I am engaged to a wonderful man an it'll be my second marriage.

I think Belial might have you beat, though I believe he only has one kid that is 10+.

He is older though? Lol..even if he is I have two teens an a soon to be 11 year old. xD I win!

I love the concept of this thread. I always felt like I was ancient on most sites. If it wasn't my age that made me feel apart it was the fact that I'm done with university and already settled into a career. I can't relate with "adults" who are married with a house, 2.5 kids, and a dog - but I'm not a "young adult" that's still living the college life either. :/

Nightmare~ I have people think I'm 14-19 years old still... The 14/15 is an insult to me...lol.

I was 21 at the time and I have 8 facial piercings and 2 tattoos -I now have 7 tattoos and only 4 piercings- and I was walking around a little carnival that the town I grew up in has every year and this carny was like "How old are you, 14?"


I was like ...wtf... what parent would let their 14 year old have this many piercings and tattoos!?

Maybe he was just trying to be a jerk and mock you because you had piercings and tattoos? I get snippy remarks like that all the time and I don't have nearly as much going on as you do. I think it's more because of my (lack of) fashion sense.

People sure are intelligent sometimes. :/

I'm twenty and single.
Not really looking for people to date, though I have had my crushes.
Right now I have my education to worry about. I will probably be moving around a lot in the next few years due to education and eventually my career.

As too looking young, I usually get a range of people saying I look about 14-16 >.>
I might get the occasional 17-18.
It really depends on what I am wearing and my hair.

Except that I don't have the best fashion sense ever. People usually think that I'm age. When I got pulled over in Oregon the cop thought I was 17 and even ran my ID. I think he was just really on a mission to bust someone for curfew. That's why we got pulled over the in the first place...
