Black Swan
• • So, I just saw this movie the other day and I was blown away. Ever since I saw the first preview on tv I've been wanting to see it as I also just recently saw Requiem for a Dream. Both directed by Darren Aronofsky. Black Swan was incredibly intense and I'm still thinking about it two days after I saw it. Just wondering if anyone else here has seen it and what did y'all think of it? :] • • |
Just got done watching it.
One word: crazy. |
But an awesome crazy right? ;]
I wanna go see it again and see if I can catch more things and understand it more. Hard to understand and follow along the first time. :O |
Definitely an awesome crazy.
I'm kind of hoping my boyfriend wants to watch it so I can get another chance to watch it again and catch all the things I know to look for. |

But I will definitely buy it when it does come out. ^^ Duchess :: Yes. I enjoyed it a lot. As long as you can handle the intensity and everything then I suggest you go see it. ^^ It can be a bit confusing but it's very good. I always think that if a movie keeps you thinking after it's over then it's a great movie. This one did just that. |

What is it about anyway all I know is thae dark black ballet dancing and the pressure to be the Black swan and that was about it just watching the trailer

Ive yet to see Black Swan, but Im really excited to go see it. I might be going with my boy tonight. I'm not sure though...

Black Swan was awesome. I went to see it with my mom for her birthday. She wanted to see it before I did. But then she likes odd things. That bit with the skin on the finger hurt so a lot. I could not look at the screen for a bit.

I haven't seen it because it just looks too terrifying. I saw his other film, Requiem for a dream and was scared to death afterward. I guess different things freak me out. They seem too real, they hit too close to home. You know? I wish I wasn't such a baby, lol! |
I've seen this movie for my Abnormal Psych class. Nina is a star ballet dancer. She's so bent on wanting to become perfect it caused her to lose her sanity...I feel sorry for her in the end. D: But the movie is lovely. ^^ Remember kids, Nothing is perfect! |

Wish I could have seen it on the big screen but my tv is pretty decent so that's fine lol. This movie was clever, thoughtful, and was executed so wonderfully... the scenes were all very beautiful, the story was perfection, and the acting was magnificent. |

Black Swan was a beautiful movie. Through out the movie the camera is set on Natalie, which gives us a sense of her emotions. It has a brilliant concept and beautiful cinematography. However, I didn't really like the ending ):

I saw it but I didn't care for it much. But it would probably help if I had not tried to watch with a friend who can't handle metaphors and such.

I saw and loved it. It really expresses a side to the artist that not many people ever really see.

Ooh that movie was insane! :O I loved it but at the same time it freaked me out, and made me twitch and cringe away at certain parts bluh >_<

Looking forward to seeing it still, but I do think Natalie earned her keep for it, from what I know. |

great movie its one of my favourites i enjoyed the whole movie. :)

That movie was really really good. I mean, it was kinda scary and trippy at times, but the story is too interesting to not see twice.
