I only recently started playing, around November last year. We're playing 3.5. I'm currently DM'ing my first campaign ever! It's an Oriental Adventure themed one. =P |
never played oriental adventure- and never dmed before .o. - nor do i intend to really- i've been having a hard time grasping a bulk of the rules

I used to play 3.5, but when 4.0 came out, and I couldn't buy 3.5 stuff anymore, I switch to Pathfinder RPG, it's very similar to 3.5. |
Our DM, the one who bought the books and dice, wanted to play as a PC, so he handed me his books and said, "You're doing the next campaign. Have fun." Someone lent me the Oriental Adventures in PDF form, so voila! It's actually pretty fun. |
I usually meet up with a group at a hobby store and we play. It's every Thursday, and every other Monday, but we only go to the Thursday games.
(this is for Pathfinder Society). I'm currently playing a Level 3 Rogue, though I'm used to playing spell casters more often. xD |

XD i'm used to being dragon fodder- but that's mainly because the group would throw my character at said dragon as a strategy... kinda took the fun out of it .x.

We tricked a dragon into jumping in a whirlpool once! We rolled incredibly high, and it practically failed the roll... So... it jumped into a lake, was swept up by a whirlpool, and one of it's wings was torn off.
It's okay, it was an evil dragon anyway... It was killing all the livestock in the area... >.> And sometimes hunting people. |
i had a mute ranger character- who because i got distracted once and used disable device on a tree, they decided to offer it up to a dragon in exchange for gold... only... the items i had on my person were worth a crapton more than the gold they traded for... his last words (since i failed my knowledge religion check for hastur) was "f*** you guys and the horse you rode in on"

We only had one person eaten by a dragon... and that was mainly because the DM didn't like his character and wanted him to make a new one. lol
Usually... you shouldn't be feeding your players to dragons... |

XD in dnd's original stuff- there was alot of reference to cthulu and the entire universe cthulu is in, including hastur... it was taken out in later versions though

Frankly, I'm not sure what campaign he plans on doing after we're done with mine. He wants to do Sandstorm, a D20 modern, Cthulu...D; |
I'd love to do a d20 modern thing where all our characters are in the mafia!

8D It would be fun! I'd take dual-weapon wielding with pistols or handguns. (if that's allowed, I'm not sure how a d20 modern differs or what's available). I would want to be in the Russian mafia, if we were to do mafias. |
