SO, my family has a history of heart problems. Word.
WELL, today I got a stress test. Know what that is?
IN SHORT. They stick an IV in you, fill it with nuclear chemical, shoot it through your body, take pictures, make you run, then take more pictures.

Not so bad right?
FALSE.
I apparently have bad veins.
What does that mean?
It took 3 tries of digging around under my skin, looking for a vein to poke before the third finally took.
Once in my arm, twice in both hands.
IT WAS HELL.
Why?
FRIGGIN HURTS.
For the first time in my life, I almost passed out. xD!

BUT THANK YOU JESUS, it is now over.

ANYONE HERE HAVE A FEAR OF NEEDLES?
Whether longstanding or people, like me, who suddenly discovered this fear?

I have been petrified of needles since I was a kid. I blackout every time I get a needle...
When I got my wisdom teeth out I kept freaking out so they had to give me laughing gas for almost 30 minutes before putting the iv in.... Normally people get laughing gas for 5 minutes.... Horrible! That was the first time my mom actually believed that I was scared of needles.

I got NOTHING with my IV. xD
I almost blacked out, dry heaved and all. @ n@

Holy crap! BLAINE. THATS HORRIBLE. DO YOU NEED A BATTY BAND-AID, OR SOMETHING?

I'm not terribly afraid of needles. As long as they don't make noises...

But seriously. Besides the bad veins, when will you know the results of your test? Or did you get them already? -now going to be eternally worried over your well being- xDD;

The dentist that I went to gave you a local via iv and it gave weird side effects or something so it was easier on people if they had a bit of laughing gas first.... I don't really remember. I still have no idea which arm they even put the iv in.... I was sooooo out of it!

Today. xD! My arms were bad so they had to use my hands.

I am so pale that they can almost always find my veins.... i get so frustrated when they can't find them because i can find them..... stupid peoples.

I'm not super pale...but I'm a little fluffy? xD

Because I've had a stupid cold for almost 2 weeks now.... and it hasn't gotten any better....

My family has a history of heart diseases, and now, it's manifesting in me (the palpitations)
aaaand, NEEDLES freak me out...not that I'm scared of it, but the feeling of it under my skin is irritating and freaky. T_T

It took them 9 times to find my vein to draw blood and I was already starting to pass out by the 5th time.

My friend donated blood and his vein wouldn't clot so it bled for 2-3 days before we had to close it ourselves with a tie tied arounds uper tight on his arm.

And my mom only twice to find her vein

I just can't stand the constant rooting around under the skin and the ouchies. DX

I would've slapped the nurse if he/she wasn't able to find a vein. My hands and arms are soft and my mom had said that I have deep-seated veins. D:
Only she can locate it...my mom's a nurse.

xD! Nurse had to slap my arms to make it come up. > o<

Mhm..they do that if your veins are "hiding" XD
The most painful for me was 3 years ago...it was a freaking huge needle...and it freaking hurt...good thing I have high pain tolerance.

It was that bad the they had to call in another flabotomist to find the vein and all he had to do was move it a millimeter to the left oTL

I dislike needles very much.
Lucky for me, my veins are just out there. xDD

I hate needles too, last time I got a needle shot it was after my gyneocologist exam and that was about a year ago

I have a fear of needles. xD

I know for a fact that getting shots and things doesn't even hurt that much but I still can't do it. If I know the needle's coming, I freak out.

I've always hated needles. To this day, I don't even know my blood type because I refuse to donate blood with my mom and brother, who go several times a year.

I can't stand seeing needles going to people, worse seeing others than myself. I have no problems getting needles as long as I don't see it and it doesn't hurt too bad. Of course, the doctor needs to remember to tell me when it's out, because I'm not looking. I have a scar from getting an IV as a baby, which isn't all that strange since I got a LOT of IV's as a baby.

Word I cant stand needles. I dread getting my booster shots. xS
