Short hair or long hair?
 

Really, I don't care. I think girls can look wonderful with both short and long hair, and there are types of men who can look nice with longer hair.

I like guys who have something you can actually call a haircut. Too short isn't good, too long isn't good either. I like it stylish and Japanese. (lol?) xD Baldness is definitely a no no. Big turn off. :s Then again if the guy has a really gorgeous face then maybe can can look great in really short hair too.

Girls - Well I'm not really into girls...ya know...but most girls do look the best in long hair but many can pull of short hair as well. I think in most modern cultures today a girl doesn't really need to have long hair, which is good.

Ah, but of course if you don't care and don't want to be attractive that's another thing. Which makes everything meaningless.

For a guy I likie short hair but long enough that I can pull it XD

and for girls I like shoulder length or longer depending on the facial construction

For both guys, AND girls, I prefer long hair.
I wouldn't ever discriminate against short hair..

But on my boys, I love the long-ISH shaggy look. Something I can run my fingers through, and muss up. Its incredibly sexy to me. xD;

As for my girls? I lovvvvveeeeee past shoulders/middle to the back.
Again, for the same reason. So I can run my fingers through it.

For myself, I rock with pixie short hair, and I'm a girl. 8D

I also think medium-shoulder length shaggy hair is sexy on men.

For me, it really depends on the type of hair. If the person has really straight hair, I think longer hair looks better. If the person has hair that tends to frizz or curl, maybe something about shoulder-length or a little shorter. Longer hair with a lot of curls and such looks just way too messy to me.

I don't know. I've never really thought about it. But I know I don't like buzz-cuts.

Different people look good with different styles. It's hard to say which is the best because there's no haircut that's universally good-looking.

For girls... well, I don't really pay attention. I personally like my hair about chin-length.

I find short hair is nice on both really. Not buzzed off, but, not horribly long.

Shoulder length to about 1-3inches is nice for me. It's short, but, still long enough to do something with. My own hair is about an inch and I can still style it if I wanted to, however, I can still walk around with the "I just woke up and I don't care" look.

I'm not attracted to people, but I can still judge them by their sexiness from afar, like movie/tv stars. 8D

Guy - Short hair.

Girl - Depends. Some girls make short hair look feminine and masculine at the same time. Depends on hair color, face shape, and the thickness of the hair. For the most part though, I think long hair looks better for women. When it comes to me, long hair looks wayyy better.

For girls, being one myself, I'm just going to say the style I enjoy. I used to love long hair, but now I'm enjoying short hair. Layered, and texturized. Something visually interesting and a bit.... playful. :3

For guys, I enjoy layered, medium hair. But, of course I can do short hair too. I love faux hawks cause I think they're kinda sophisticated, yet young. And if a guy has long hair, I only like it if it's well taken care of and kinda thick. No stringy, thin, and greasy hair, please! D:

For me guys can have long or short hair. I mean I dont mind men having long hair as long as they can pull off wearing it while still being able to look like a guy. I'm not much of a fan of the girly looking men. :I

As a girl myself I prefer my hair either way as long as its not in my face and in my way.

For what I find attractive? Usually longer hair on men and women...but there's always exceptions. I'd say no bald heads, but some men have really sexy bald heads...what can I say, I'm usually equal opportunity. If the person is fun, smart, sexy, or some amazing combination in there I rarely focus on the individual parts.

Personal preference on my own head is long, as long as I can get it to grow LOL Unfortunately, having reached my terminal length I find that 'as long as I cna get it to grow' is about my hips. :(

I really don't have any preferences with hair, as long as it's clean, and not dreadlocks, they're horrible, and I do not like. >:(

It all depnds on face shape and construction. Though I tend towards long hair. A lot of times the longer hair styles are more attractive to me. I know for sure I wish that I could make long hair look good. Alas I was not blessed with the looks to pull that one off. Short spiked hair is best on me yet I'm so anal retentive I can't spike my own hair or it looks like a hair style that I hate xP

On guys, I prefer short hair, mostly because it looks neater and more professional. However, there are some men I love the look of long hair on. Like Trace Adkins. He looks amazing with long hair.

Girls, it really depends on the individual. I, myself, have gone through several lengths of hair. Growing up, I had long hair down to my butt. I got it cut shorter several times, letting it go back long over time. But now, I have short hair. I like how I look with short hair. It really depends on the face and body type as to what kind of hair a woman can wear...

...Just as it depends on the man. If a man is skinny and wimpy looking, long hair makes him look feminine, which is fine so long as he wants to look feminine.

The number one rule, though, when it comes to hair... NEVER LET IT GET GREASY AND NASTY BECAUSE THAT IS JUST GROSS! XD

I prefer extremely long hair on guys and a cute short cut on girls.

I was at a doctor's office where he was going to run tests on some kind of physical ability of mine for some reason. Anyways before doing them I asked if I could use the bathroom first. I saw my hair down about two inches below my shoulder. Soft as it already is right now. Would it be wrong if I said this turned me on? xD; The do didn't look as bad as I thought it might. Though my dream put my out at a steep angle so that if I tried to cover it with my hair it would flop out xP

Second dream I also had this hair style. Wore emo style winter clothes with it. Didn't like the jacket pattern so much but the design was SO comfortable! *w*

I have a pixie cut. I go back and forth from long hair to short hair. I like to mix it up and make it different.

I think either can look good on either gender person as long as the cut and style compliment their face shape.

I love long hair because I like playing with hair, however...The person I love most actually has fairly short hair so it's not really the only thing I look for xD

I like to grow my hair cause I can do more hairstyles with longer hair and my boy toy LOVES IT, but for less maintence and wearing wigs easier, I would have to go for short

Depends on the person. I love seeing other girls with short hair, because it bears a kidn of cultural symbolism for me, and I hate that people are so stuck in the notion that long is the only way that girls "should" wear their hair. It's more of a social thing for me, haha...

As for looks, thogh, obviously everyone looks different and so different hairstyles suit them, but in general I think long hair on guys is awesome; some guys just look "blah" with it, and some guys look great. Depending on whether it is curly or straight... curly, I think it looks cuter when it is a bit longer, though short is still all right, and straight it doesn't really matter, but a shorter (not too short), styled look is great.

Guys with really square jaws, though, generallyr eally masculine, traditionally handsome faces tend to look odd with longer hair; guys with more "pretty" faces look weird with it really short...

Ultimately again, it depends on the person. I think people should feel free to try whatever the hell hairstyle they want... but what looks best changes from individual to individual.

Long hair on guys, most definately. If it's short I like it to have some style to it. I think buzz cuts are the most bland thing ever. Not too fond of no hair on guys either.

I like long hair on girs too but not usually behind mid back. A friend of mine is bald and she looks really good, I think in part because it accentuates her facial features more.

Speaking purely for asthetic reasons of course. ;)

I like long hair. It's just much fun to run my fingers through their hair, and play with it. While not quite on topic, I also LOVE unnatural colored hair. Bright blues and reds and pinks and purples.

At one time, I had EVERY color of the rainbow. Except yellow, and white. xD; I had a hard enough time bleaching my hair. Now, I'm strictly red. :3

I prefer short hair on guys, and as a girl, I don't really care I like both long and short hair but not too short.

I much prefer long hair on myself, but I love seeing people with short hair that can rock it.

Personally, I've never been able to grow my hair as long as it is now, and I'm ecstatic, so it's going to my butt, at a minimum. But length is whatever you feel moved to have it be. Half the battle is in taking care of what you have - otherwise it's all worthless.

I agree with what Echo-Chan said. It really depends on the facial and body structure of women. It's rare for women to be able to pull of short hair, but I've seen it done.
