Thats pretty cool~
My cat liked to chew on the cords to my tv when he was a kitten and I'm pretty sure he shocked himself more then once.
xD

Azrael 05-11-2011 01:42 AM

XD My cat was clicking out the window the other day. Like, she was sitting at the window making clicky sounds. I don't know why...

BloodStain 05-11-2011 01:43 AM

Ashurato 05-11-2011 02:09 AM

Dog + dark room + laser pointer = hours of fun.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-11-2011 02:18 AM

Wierdest thing I can remember my dog doing is stretching himself off the couch. He started a stretch and then sort of slithered off the couch and onto the floor, his rear end going "flop" and he finished his stretch on the floor. He didn't seem to be concerned about this at all about the fact that he was on the floor.

I have seen my brother's old cocker spaniel come charging up the stairs after a bath and, without slowing down in the slightest, leap off of another dog, onto a chair, and faceplant into a piece of cake that he must have detected in less than 3 nanoseconds. The dog he jumped off of -one of my sister's mastiffs- was looking aroung with a "what just happened?" look on his face.

Kenly 05-11-2011 06:03 PM

our black cat, onyx, gets 'crazy eyes'. when she does, no one's safe cuz you just don't know what she's going to do. sometimes she runs through the house like her tail is on fire. sometimes she attacks her pet monkey and runs through the house with him. sometimes she attacks us and noms us mercilessly. it all just depends on her mood.
today, i found a dead mouse on my bedroom floor. my girl brought me a 'present'.

Fey 05-11-2011 08:36 PM

Craziest thing I've seen animals do....uhm I used to work with them so that's a long list. BUT the one my own family's animals have done is a bit shorter
My brother had a blonde cat named Busicuit whom was a bit....tetched in the head. He thought he was a squirrel. But, the one thing he did that made me O.O...O.O...was literally ricochet off a wall going down stairs, bounce off and perform a perfect sliding stop at the garage door. All to greet his boy upon arrival. That cat also would get into the shower with you, 'talk' to small rodents, dangle bonelessly off the edge of a counter(which he was nearly as tall as), and panic if he saw a shadow on the floor. Tetched I say.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-12-2011 02:05 AM

My dog, Monty, is normally as lazy as I am and it's about 50/50 which of us gets out of bed first, but when he's wet he suddenly becomes jet-powered. He runs through the house, usually with one side of his face on the carpet or the side of the couch, propelling himself along in what I guess is an attempt to get the water out of his ears or to whipe them off (he does like to whipe his face on the carpet by the door after he eats. We call it his 'napkin.' :)). He jumps on and off couches and my bed. One time he lept at the bed at an angle, was too low to make the height and instead ricocheted off the bed at about a 45 degree angle, and didn't seem to care. Just bounced off "ping" in superman mode, front paws forward and everything, and bolted into the other room to scrub his ears some more.

He always had a habit of jumping out of my arms as a puppy when I went to put him down, so what I used to do was let him jump but hang onto him around his ribs and guide him to the ground. He would hold his front feet out, ready to land. Not sure if he ever realised that I was hanging onto him the whole time, kinda like playing "airplane" with a little kid.

Sarah 05-17-2011 01:37 PM

that is weird lol..cat's do crazy things sometimes. I know they make that noise when they look out the window when they see something that they want to get to but they can't..like a bird or something. xD

Desmond 05-17-2011 06:46 PM

My friends cat does weird things all the time. One of his many names is Mr.Slinky because he slinks down the stairs.

Last night he did something rather funny. My friends boyfriend called him over, so he walked over and then promptly threw himself onto the floor. At which time he got spooked and ran away. He's silly, but adorable. ^^

Lunaryon 05-18-2011 09:18 AM

A friend of mine had a dog which had the amazing 'job' of babysitting the children of a skunk it saved a few years back. She also had a gerbil which loved to climb into peoples mouths.

WHAT? A Gerbil that climbed into people's mouths?! Omg! That's awesome!

Sarah 05-18-2011 02:37 PM

It was trying to kill itself O___O maybe?? O.o

Lunaryon 05-18-2011 08:45 PM

No. It loved to clean people's teeth. Creepy and kind of disgusting, but cool.

Ryuuoh 05-18-2011 11:09 PM

My dog does weird things all the time. actually it's less commmon for him to do normals things. Like he won;t destroy a shirt, but he'll just rip the buttons off without ripping the shirt. One time he also untied and unlaced some shoes. He'll start to chase his tail when he is told "no". He also barks at an extension cord everytime we leave to house throught the back gate O_o.
My weird dog is weird.

Ashy 05-18-2011 11:22 PM

One of my cats runs around at night doing freaky things, she also attacks my feet when im not looking ><

Illusion 05-19-2011 12:22 AM

Probably inheat or something.

Samuel 05-19-2011 12:37 AM

That sounds like your friend is very energetic xD

Sarah 05-19-2011 01:11 AM

ew that is weird XD

Batty 05-19-2011 01:19 AM

My cats do that ALL the time. They also climb walls. And I'm pretty sure if I taught them how to pole vault, they'd do that too. xD;

Chi 05-19-2011 01:47 AM

That's extremely odd.
My new puppy barks at his crap after he craps. xD;

Ryuuoh 05-19-2011 01:50 AM

My dog used to do that one too when he was younger.

Echo-chan713 05-19-2011 01:51 AM

Not really cause if my pet rocks did anything like that I would be scared, call my friend to pick me up and take me over to his place or he has to comeover and protect me from the possessed pet rocks (I now have 2 rocks)

Quiet Man Cometh 05-19-2011 05:30 AM

Monty (yes, more Monty), old boy that he is, has a habit of lying down rather suddenly which catches people off guard often. He has some arthritis so I don't think he likes to bother with all the effort of lying down delicately, he just flops. He lies belly down too with his back feet out and it looks like he just turns his legs off. He's standing..now he's not. I call it his "disengage" button. He's done that and either people burst out laughing or the look at me with worry and ask "is he okay? He just fell down!" I'll glance at him to be sure it's all good but usually he's fine. He did belly flop off the couch the other day after he slipped when trying to jump. Mom and I were right there and a little shocked as he just looking ahead for a few moments and didn't really move. He knocked the air out of himself I imagine but otherwise continued to whipe his face and do what Mont does. He's little but he's a spaniel. They're tough. :)

Demonskid 05-19-2011 05:35 AM

Hehe disengage button xD nice.

The weirdest thing my cat does is either play fetch or woof at me.. not bark but woof.. it's strange to me cause none of my other cats ever did any of these things..

OH! and the fact my cat is REALLY good at walking on his leash when we go out side :3 it seems to amaze people.. I sometimes take him with me when I go check the mail.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-19-2011 05:57 AM

Well, apparently cats only 'meow' around people, never among each other, so I suppose your cat has worked out it's own methods of communicating with you.

I used to walk my rat on a ferret leash on occasion, though usually I had him in a basket (and hoped people would ask me what I had :D) and just left it on him so he wouldn't toddle off too far. Alas, rats being the skinny head and necked shape that they are, said leash didn't always stay on that well, and never did if he decided he wanted it off.

Demonskid 05-19-2011 06:08 AM

I need to get my cat a new collar that fits >< he has his blue one freyed out so bad.. it looks as though he has blue fur.. i get asked if I dye his fur on occasion -.-

but yea.. my cat woofs at me when he's throwing some sort of temper tantrum for no reason xD he just threw one a few seconds ago and is now laying in his cat tree scratcher thing @-@

Quiet Man Cometh 05-19-2011 06:45 AM

Heh. You just reminded me. My aunt had a really old cat that would tip over when you poked her. Nothing dramatic or anything. If you poked her in the side she would just tip over. Might be that her balance was really shabby by then, it took a second for her to tip. My cousin used to like to scare people with it.

Demonskid 05-19-2011 07:02 AM

x'D that sounds so amusing! I wish I could see..

*watches my cat spazz out* ._., zeke should do that.. *pokes* Zeke: falls over like a cardboard poster *stares*

Batty 05-19-2011 08:28 AM

I wish I could walk my cat on a leash! But she'd take off in a heartbeat. Then again, she's fat, so all I'd have to do is dangle a cheezeit or something and she'd come back running.

Predictable cat is predictable.

The clicky noise is a cat 'chattering' it's t he sort of wanting frustrated noise they make when they are totally fixated on a bird. I sort of equate it to seeing something awesome in a store and the little *whine* ooooh~ noises we make over it.

Behemoth 05-19-2011 01:07 PM

I've heard that when they chatter, they make the same motions they would if they were delivering a killing bite, so they're really thinking about nomming on the robins.

My girl kitty seems to teleport. I'll see her in the living room and when I get to my bedroom, she's under the bed. I think she knows how to think with portals. My boy cat likes to wiggle on his back to cross short distances. There's nothing wrong with him, so he's just weird.

I used to play fetch with my cat, she was fat so it was excerise. She would play fetch with her favorite rabbit foot, and we would play fetch on the stairs since it burn a little bit more calories to go up the stairs.

But when my sister bought a puppy from hell destroyed that rabbit's foot and she was so depressed, we bought more rabbit's foot for her but it wasn't the same as her favorite one. She would hold it in her mouth and walk all over the house waiting for someone (primarily me) to play fetch with her.

Sarah 05-20-2011 04:04 PM

one of my cats is more lazy than my other one, man if she were to be outside alot of those birds would be screwed. XD only thing is my cats don't have front claws.......and yeah...

Lunaryon 05-20-2011 04:13 PM

My cats will only deal with me. They won't eat the food that other people bring them, and will only play with me. If any of my siblings try to play with them, my brothers: Ages 13 and 12 get scratched, and my sisters: Ages 7 and 7, get bopped on the head, no claws.

Hero 05-20-2011 10:22 PM

Haha oh cats.
They're always so amusing.
My dog used to just randomly have a spazz attack and skid around the floors.
I think he thought he was a car or something

Athilea Majiri 05-20-2011 11:06 PM

My animals do crazy things all the time. Cats spazzing out, dogs confusing themselves, the ferret trying to steal everything.

Sarah 05-21-2011 10:08 AM

@Hero our lab we had when we lived in our old house (had to get rid of him as we were forced to move out and this house doesn't have a fenced yard...) He use to do the same thing. well he was really crazy.. I'm not a dog person at all. I did love that dog though.. he was weird.
