Pirates! Coming out tonight at Midnight!
 

So Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is coming out tonight at midnight where I am. Anyone have thoughts on the life and times of one Captain Jack Sparrow?

I like the PotC movies mostly for the OST, and for the antics/fighting of Jack Sparrow...I'm not toooooo much of a fan.

I'm actually not that much of a fan myself, but my brother is, and this movie looks a little closer in spirit to the first of the movies, rather then the sequels. Less sub plots. Just Jack and his new crew racing to beat Barbossa and Black Beard to the Fountain of Youth.

Love Jack Sparrow. The rest of the characters in the other movies aren't as fun. I just REALLY hope that this movie isn't as bad as I think it's going to be.

I thought the movies were supposed to be a trilogy? what am I missing here?

I was at Disneyland on May 1st and they were setting up for the release of it smack dab in the middle of New Orleans Square.

I don't know what to think about the fourth installation so far.

~cough~ Personally happy that there's no Orlando/his charie (can't remember his name >_>) in this movie. I never cared for him...

Didn't realize that the fourth movie came out already, I have been wanting to watch it.

Will Turner? Yea.. I didn't care much for him either... I'll kinda miss elizabeth.. I heard she isn't gonna be in this one either.. Oh well! Johnny Depp is still there so It should be just as good if not better then the other 3 <3

I'm excited and terrified for this movie.... I love Cpt Jack, but I fear what they may do to the character to keep us 'interested'. I mean, I realize they thought people saw the first three for Orlando Bloom and...er...the female actress who's name escapes me...but really we were all there for Depp. Or at least I was, lol. So why they felt the need to slap in a love interesst for him I'll neeeeeeever get. But who knows, she might be a vital cog to plot...I'll reserve judgement until I see it.

It doesn't come out until Friday here and I'm not seeing it until Saturday, but I'm really excited. x3

I don't think it will be nearly as good as the other because (like most movies) the first one was the best and then it just went downhill from there, but I LOVE Johnny Depp. <3

XD I... had always wanted Jack with Elizabeth for some reason. I dunno. that's why I never liked Will.

EXACTLY! They seemed better together. Will was such a goodygoody it seemed...

XD I never liked the look of him much, either. Always favored Depp.

I just got home from the movies a bit ago I say I did enjoy the movie. I even dressed like a Pirate to the movies. XD

This was a fairly good movie~
I can't wait to see it again

I liked it a lot, a tad slow for a while but overall real good.

And no, bloom isn't in it. thank god.

I want to see it soooooooooo bad.
The original POTC is my favorite movie.

Personally, I am THRILLED that Orlando Bloom is not in this one. I don't like him as an actor. However I'm very sad that Keira Knightly isn't in this one. She is sooo hot.
I always wanted Elizabeth and Jack to be together even though of the large obvious age difference.
They're both just such attractive people. And their character's personalities are hysterical together.

Oh well! I'm still VERY excited to see this movie. I think I'm going on Sunday. (if the world isn't over P: )

Nikko;; I was JUST going to ask "Has anyone seen it, yet?!" I'm not like.. super hugely obsessed with the movies, but I do really, really enjoy them. I was surprised to see there was a fourth one coming out last year, when I was perusing IMDB. xDD;

Yeah. And in an article I read recently says that Disney has already signed Depp on for a Pirates 5. I seriously don't see the series ending for a long while. What Depp did with captain Jack has made him such an amazing character that it's impossible not to love him, even when he goes insane and nearly kisses a goat.

A PIRATES 5? Man.. but its just not the same without Orlando, and Keira. xD;

Thats why I'm a bit on edge about seeing this new one. I don't fancy Penelope Cruz. xD;

This one apparently has a few more people from actual history. Black Beard is in it, as the major bad guy, and I've heard something about Jack going and seeing like a king-type person while he's in London. Why is he in LONDON. That's not in the Caribbean!

It's kind of funny, but I was planning on taking my little brother, but then he went and watched it without me, and is now planning on taking me to see it tomarrow as a Graduation present to me. Afterwords I'm thinking about sticking around and watching priest.

Imma have to scrounge up the money to go see it sometime this week, or next week. xDD;
