I've only watched a couple episodes with my sister but I love the intro, creepy as it is. ;). At least a few people I know watch it as much for Eric Skarsgard (put a little circle above one of the a's. Don't know how to type Swedish characters) as for anything else.

I do wonder though, just what it is between the Southern US and vampires, since True Blood isn't the first vampire tale to be set in area around Luisiana.

Trisphee truly is a different type of vampire show. Its well written, well directed, amazing cinematography, amazing plot.. just amazing. I can not wait till the season starts, I am very excited

The show I enjoy, but after season 1 they completely fucked the plot over. So I try not to think of them as the same things. -_-'

I find that's usually the best approach to take with book/film anyway. I've heard of that series I believe. There's a character by that name in the series, isn't there? Don't watch the show enough to beb familiar with the actual character names, just the way some of them look.

Sookie is the main charater and who's POV it is written in. It's rare I enjoy reading a female POV despite being a girl, but I do enjoy this series immensely.

And if they get to... even just season 6 I believe, or maybe even season 5... they fucked themselves over royally if they plan to even sort of follow the plot. Their biggest screw up is if they manage to make it all the way to season 10 though... Since they made Godrick Eric's maker when he's not... and then they killed him. -_-'

I was thinking of the television series rather than the books with regards to Sookie, since I'm not sure which person she is but I think I've heard the name.

As to the issues, I've seen that happen before Television. They'll probably just rewrite something or bring in another character to make things work. In the mystery series I watch, one character was killed when in the book he lived and returned later in another book. In the TV show, they just brought in a "cousin" to fill the role when the other story rolled around, which actually worked out rather well.

I'd just like to see them do it. XD Cause they seem to stick to the main plot of the books for half of the season, destroying major actual plot points, though, and then go off onto something else. So I'd like to see them fix this huuuge issue since A) we weren't supposed to even know anything about Eric's maker till book 8, and book 9 is basically centered around him...

I honestly just started watching it last season..I watched season 1 and 2 to catch up right before season 3 started..and I finished both of them in less than a week total..

I haven't read the books, mainly because I didn't know about them... I'm going to try and look for them at Chapters though when I have some money. I LOVE the HBO series though... I can't wait for Season 4. It starts on my birthday! Happy Birthday to me! ^o^

Alexander Skarsgard will get you just fine results as well, even without the symbol.

I know, that's how I found them in IMDB, but I like to be correct in my spellings when I can.

I've seen the first 2 seasons, I'm pretty sure. I stopped watching it for some reason and every time I try to get caught up I can't remember where I was so I just give up. D:
I'm somewhere around the part when they find out what Maryann is... e__e

I love the story of this vampire series way more than all the others. ^^

That sounds like something HBO would do. ;)

I know. Which is why my one single hope for the season isn't exactly too far off from possibility.

I've read the first five books as well. I love both the show and the books separately.

I have enjoyed watching it so far. I like how when whats his face says Sookie it sounds like he's saying Sucky since he's a vampire it's really ironic.

I have a bad memory but yeah I started watching it when it first came out or shortly after and the last time I watched it what was when the last episode of the last season aired I only remember Sookie and Sam's names at the moment.

Do you think you will watch the new season? I've watched all the episodes. But I think season 4 [this new one] is my favorite I've only see the first two episodes of this season but I already love it <3
