So, obviously I'm new to this site. I already pretty much love the whole layout and everything, but navigating will take some time to get used to. Does anyone have some friendly tips on getting used to the site?

I wandered around for a while before getting the hang of things, but this was my first avatar site too. I'd say you could probably pick one of the spots that's most favorite, look around and start posting! Everyone I've met here is very friendly :3

Trinkets and Tresses has the hair options but none of them are free. There's also a newbie giveaway thread right here in the welcome section, I'd recommend going to check it out ^^

Hmmm....now I saw there was a thing about subscribed threads, but can't seem to figure out exactly how to subscribe to this one....

Oh yeah! Ginger and Nightmare are AMAZING. They have past event sets that they give to newbies-- I think there are also some rune selling threads for people who have just joined, as well.

You can ALWAYS find me in my hangout thread -points to link in siggy- That can make you aurum super fast. The art community here is growing too, and we have some talented as hell artists. Also, I know I told you about the layering system-- EVERYTHING on this site can be layered over one another. Including all the hair, socks, shoes, etc. [at the moment, I'm wearing two or three different hairstyles, and like, three pairs of shoes xD]

YES. We actually just released an achievement system, too! So the token shop is new-- as well as the event shop, because we have an event goin' on right now. And one of the achievements is a 20 layered avatar. :3 You should see some of my other ones. xDD;

Batty is one of the many people I've met here that I'm glad I did ♥

And I LOVE the layering options here, though I'm not quite creative enough to use it yet ^^;

I know how crazy you liked to get with your other avi's, so I can only imagine what kind of crazy styles you've got going on with the freedom that they give you here. And I really like the way that they dole out the dough too. Feels so much easier here.

And hmm... I'm a really huge fan of threads. xD; But you know me and my half nekkid obsession. Lmao. The underbust corsets are VERY versatile. As well as the slip dresses, and basic skirts. [I have both layered right now]

I've noticed that too. It seems like everyone is becoming more and more illiterate there. Its annoying to try to role play with people who don't the difference in "allowed" and "aloud".

Also, I don't know if you saw but we have yearly items, as well. That stay around for the entirety of a year, before they're replaced the following. I think you have till November to snatch those up if you can get runes, if not, theres always the buyers market. <3

Wow, nice change. I'm going with the red and black because it seems to be the easiest theme for me to start with. Lol. I may be able to get some runes to play with here in a day or so. I'm getting paid and should have money left over after bills.

I've been job hunting for over 6 months, and nothings turned up. Kinda irks me. ><; But if you buy runes on a regular basis, I can always just purchase them from you with aurum. <33

I've been out of work too Batty, trying to get a job but it seems like the only places hiring are places I can't work x.x I'd love to get some Rune items but, heh, maybe someday :P

Trying to find a job sucks. I just got lucky in getting mine because they got desperate for people. Then they got desperate at a store closer to my house so they transferred me. Its not my ideal job, but it pays the bills and gives us room to breathe. At least until my new little bundle of joy shows up in about nine months...

I don't know how regularly I will buy it, but I wouldn't mind giving you some runes for aurum and what not.

Lol, yeah. I found out about two weeks ago, but I haven't been able to make an appointment with the doctor to get a good feel of how far along I am yet. My schedule at work has been crazy, but I'm thinking that I'm at least 4 weeks in. I'm going to call some doctors tomorrow and find one that can see me next week and get the ball rolling.

Thanks! We weren't entirely trying for another one, it just seemed like a good time to let things happen as they would. If we got pregnant, then yay! If we didn't, it was okay. So, now I'm preggers and jumping around trying to remember all the rules of pregnancy.

But you know what gets me? I had just started a diet and started to lose weight when I found out I was pregnant. Lol!

OH GODDESS! XDDD; Poor Jess! i'm sure you can hop back on that train once the baby is born. <3

Lol. I intend to keep walking during my pregnancy, but I'm not going to worry so much about what I eat. I mean, I'm not going to go and pig out on McDonalds on the time this time around, but I'm not going to limit myself either. I will get back on the horse of salads and low calorie intake whenever I pop out this kid. Lol.

We have already skimmed through our book of baby names and picked out the ones that we like or kinda liked. My hubby is convinced we'll have another girl, while I'm not really sure what we'll have. I wouldn't mind a girl, but I wouldn't mind a boy either. :D

Actually, I'm starting to feel a little sick from staying up, so I may get off of here and get some sleep soon...
