Weirdest wake up call ever
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) Ok I'm just going to describe to you what happened this morning after 3am. I just had to share it with someone. I woke up from a dream where this yellow ball was being thrown into my face. As soon as I wake up there was Gintoki, one of my kitties, in my face. He's on the table right next to my bed, and my head was right next to it. So I sit up because I knew he wanted me to get up. There on the floor next to the bed was Lavander, another kitty, looking up at me and I knew she wanted me to get up as well. So I get out of bed, shut off the fan that I had on and everyone followed me down the stairs and around the house while I did my normal morning routine. Giving them fresh water, feeding my birds, making coffee and taking my pills. Then as soon as that was done, everyone went and did their own thing. They were happy and satisfied that I was awake and their mission was accomplished. This never happened before. I never woke up because my cats wanted me to be up with them. I knew that that ball was sent to me because of the cats. It might sounds weird but I believe in things like that. I just had to share my odd morning with all of you. So anyone else have a odd wake up call like this? Or a odd wake up call period? I've found over the years that cat stares have weight. More so when you're asleep even. And when just their eyes don't work they're happy enough to use feet, tails, tongues or whatever it is to get you up LOL
I've had dreams that have had alarms, and bells wake me up on days I've forgotten to set alarms as well, so I think our brains are quite good at helping us out. Though, fair warning with the cats, don't do the 3am thing often unless you want to be woken up EVERY morning that way, they will take advantage of it and start waking you every day. |

I wouldn't say I've waken up in any sort of "odd" way. It's usually what's rolling around in my head just before I wake up that's wierd.
Little routines are interesting though. My dog will make me up at times. Not so much now but when we was younger he would wake me up at 10am on the button. Wouldn't do anything, just be there sniffing at my face a little when I opened my eyes or felt him walking across the bed. Then he'd lie back down and go to sleep again. He did sleep in a kennel though, and he sleeps on the floor most of the night now, so it's like he decides that around that time he's going to join me on the bed for a while. Maybe he's making sure I'm still okay or that I'm still me with his 'checking in.' Now that I think about it, when he was a puppy he slept in a kennel and I took him outside at 6am to pee and then he slept until 10am when he would want out of his kennel. Maybe from their he learned to differentiate between "bed" time and kennel (sleep) time. He certainly spends a lot of time on my bed during the day. One thing I can tell with him, is that he doesn't always like to stay up late but doesn't want to miss things. Around 11-midnight, closer to 1-2 now, he starts to pace around then goes into the bedroom for ten minutes and comes out again, glaring at me. He does seem to want me to go to bed, even though, as with his mornings, he is only on the bed for a little while before spending the night on the floor or in his bed. When he does sleep on the bed all night, it's because he's a little insecure I think, since he will often lie up close to my head instead of down by my feet or off to the side. |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) That sounds cute. That he glares at you to go to bed. I love that. Nice to see a animal do that. Glad I'm not the only one with a pet that can do that. One of my cats will come to the stairs when I go up them after 10pm because he is trying to tell me its time to head to bed. Waking up to being sniffed sounds like a nice thing. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
It's cute. He's not much for licking unless he's nervous, so hsi nose hovers just about an inch or two away.

╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) I'm not sure. My husband was recently diagnosed with depression so he might of had it for awhile before that. Not sure how long. I'm not sure about how I slept when I was depressed. I was pretty easy to be woken up. It might depend on the person I guess. ╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) I kept quiet about it for awhile and then when I realized I was I told my husband about it who had a idea I was by then. And I wanted to see my doctor sooner to get meds for it since I wouldn't be able to get out of it without them. I'm already on meds for OCD and anxiety disorders so meds for a depression seemed like the only answer for me. It did help when I got them. Just wished I still had them. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |

╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) >.>; Ya I would doubt her too. I couldn't laugh about that. It sucks alot. You don't do anything and you sleep all the day long. Or you break up the day in between sleep with staring at a wall. That was my past time for like 3 months. I started to play a MMO after awhile and that helped me alot. I was able to keep my mind off what was wrong with me. I don't really care for the game anymore that I'm on most of my meds again. Just wished I had one for my ADD because I was more focused on things and I got more done with it. >.>; I sure hope we can get to see my doctor soon. ╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) ^_^ Thank you. I hope you aren't depressed. It sucks alot. I am starting to get back to doing things I used to do and I feel good about it. I just try to make sure the times I want to do nothing don't happen that often. I'm pushing them to happen around bedtime. Like a hour before I go to bed to make sure I can think it's ok because I can wind down from the day and relax before bed. Doesn't bother me as much that way. And with my meds I'm back to cross stitching, which takes up my entire day. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |

╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) Ya. My husband was bad when he was depressed. He kept on thinking of ways to harm himself and even tried to hurt himself a few times too. But not that bad at least. He finally got meds for it but ran out. He struggled for awhile with no meds but he was able to handle it since he started to play the same MMO as me. Kept him occupied all day long so he didn't think of anything else. Now he has meds he's doing great. He's doing awesome at his truck driving school he's in now to actually get a job. Can't find one otherwise. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |

Where I carry them all over the place, hold them for long periods of time so they might be different because of that. 3 of them are like that but the 4th is a boob. He is still mad at me for getting him fixed. He turned into a butt head after that happened to him. He will sit by me at times but won't let me hold him for more than a min at a time. ╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) He got neutered and for some reason he changed big time. Before that he was a happy loving and very playful kitten, but afterwards he was a loner. He was taken from his parents at a young age. Younger than a cat is supposed to be taken from their mother so that might have something to do with his huge mood change. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |

╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (｡◕‿◕｡) No I get all my cats spayed or neutered for their health and so they don't make more babies. I don't need another Sayuri running around. She's 'special' in a big way. The way that she isn't a smart cat. Took her 6 years to figure out how to hiss before it was her forcing air out of her mouth and you could barley hear it,but it was cute as heck. Now she uses other things as a toilet alot of the time because she is afraid of our litter robot. Plus she is scared of air. Seriously. If you move quietly or it is dead silent and nothing is moving she will jump in the air, a foot or two off the floor because something scared her. Air did it, that's happened a few times. We think she was dropped on her head as a kitten. No other explaination for her being so dumb. So I call her my 'special' girl. But she wouldn't be my Sai Sai if she wasn't. Good thing she is cute as hell. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
