No, You Can't. You can however turn off the 3D Feature, if that what gives you migraines.

Yeah... There hella expensive. $250 bucks when I last checked.

I'd rather put that money towards my car.

As much as I do want one though.. I think the Residenv evil 3d should be amazing, and Legend of zelda ocarina of time 3d will be a omg game.

I might get a 3ds way later on. I still got my Ds lite.. But I havnt touched in over a year.

You can turn off the 3D part.

Sadly you can't play the games on other DS systems. The way the Game Card is there is a tab on the side of it causing it to not fit in the other systems. I find myself enjoying the other features the 3DS has like the motion thing.. In zelda 3D when you go to use the bow or sling shot, just use the 3DS to aim! it makes killing things easier x3

though It does suck that the games can't be played on the other systems..

Well I wouldn't complain about the price no more, starting today the 3DS will be dropped 80 dollars in price. So now it's 170 dollars. Not bad :/ I'm totally getting one now, and I heard that if there was enough demand they would be making Majoras mask 3D. So if that happens I'm throwing my N64 out the window.

I haven't got to play it yet OxO I was gonna download it onto my wii.. but I'll wait and see if Majora's Mask comes out in 3D x3

I'm planning on getting a 3DS soon too. I heard the 3d part can give you a headache. The only games I want so far for the 3DS are LOZ (obviously), Devil Survivor Overclocked, and Samurai Warriors Chronicles.

I saw a preview for Samurai Warrior Chronicles. I liked how the battle system looked on it so I have it on my wishlist inside the eShop.. I just have to save up for it now xp

When ever the 3D starts giving me a headache i just turn the 3D part off =w=

I find it funny that no one bothers to adjust the 3D :/ They always forget it exists.
When I was at Kalahari 2 weeks ago and we went out to eat, 2 boys were playing on their 3DS and complaining about getting headaches and their parents told them to turn the 3D off but they complained they wanted to play with the 3D it got real tense until I went up to them and asked them.if they adjust the 3D and they were clueless about it. XD So after helping them learn about 2.4D all headaches were solved.

I just talked my mom into getting one for me, the deal was that my Christmas money would be cut in half for presents. And it would be more birthday present. I'm going to trade in my DS for the 3DS and have my mom buy OOT3D for me in price echange >D

Where is it being dropped to 170 dollars in price? It's still 250 here to my knowledge. And I'm not paying that price just to end up turning off the 3D to play it like a normal DS

It's been 170 dollars since not last Friday but the Friday before that.
I managed to get one last Tuesday.

I think it's worth 170 dollars in my opinion, not so much 250... 3D works amazing for me. Not so much for my sister who claims she can't see it. :/ But it's real fun for the first few days. But the thing is the way they set it up. It's more of a handheld console to play with friends who own a 3DS also.

I bought Legend of Zelda OOT3D with my 3DS, and let me say it made me proud to say "MONEY. WELL. SPENT."

I never had a problem with the 3D personally. I only turn it off to save battery :/

Now here's the beauty of this whole operation

1. It would literally take 6 months to make, the game Is already made and it took 1 year to make the original Majoras Mask. Plus Majoras mask uses the same NPC's that Ocarina of time did.

2. Nintendo didn't make The Legend of Zelda ocarina of time 3D. A 3rd party company "Greezo" made it. So if Nintendo wanted the remake they can just throw it to them. The game wouldn't affect any new Zelda games at all.

3. The game director said in a interview if there was an outpour of fans who wanted the game they might make it.

So put that all together you have an enterally possible game, that's very cheap to make and would be easy money for nintendo. It's very possible that it's going to be made.

yeah tested out the 3D one at the store, likes it best with the 3D completely turned off
agrees on it would of been considerate if they made the 3D games also on non 3D systems for those people who will never use that feature...

Soooo....until Star Fox comes out (and it better be the same unlike the remake of Super Mario 64 which is a disappointment) I have zelda and DS games.

There are other features on the 3DS other then the 3D.. like street pass which past systems don't have. it'd suck playing something that has street pass and not being able to access it.. that and the motion thing where you can just move the 3DS to aim instead of pressing buttons to aim.


Besides Nintendo does this all the time. So does Sony. You can't play a GBA game on a Gameboy. You can't play a ps3 game on a PS2. sucks but oh well. Just turn off the 3D and play the game you want to play =w=

No one I know has a 3DS except someone 15 miles away. And I'd rather press buttons personally...because I get shakey when aiming LOL Though it is quicker...I am likely to miss. (I have Zelda for the Wii...and I've seen my shakey...it shows a lot on that one)

Which I'm not complaining or anything. Just stating it. I'm more of an rpg player .-. Which requires no aiming in general. Except maybe in a mini-game or something.

Does the 3DS not use the other AR cards yet? Cause I wanna play with the Mario one .-. I'm tired of the ? mark one .-.

They're coming out with a Wii2...it's either been announced or will be soon. That's what pisses me off. It makes me want to quit buying consoles. I don't want motion sensing with my games. I just want to play an rpg and go one with my life.

but street pass works with more then friends. put it in your pocket or bag or something and walk around the mall! x3 I've gotten a few street pass hits .. wish i could go to the mall more to get more passes xp i wanna get farther in that Mii Plaza game D8

The nearest mall is over an hour away. I know of no one who has a 3DS other than me and my friend. Though people have to have it since one Wal-Mart and the nearest GameStop didn't have Zelda...

Just take the 3DS with you every time you go out and make sure its on. some stranger you pass may have their street pass turned on. :3

I only get to go to my mall once every month =(

I like my Wii now. It's nice how some games are motion, some are classic.
