Anka Map
 

So, I'm curious. Is it just me or does the map that appears during the event battles resemble a bird? The continents and chain of islands look like spead wings and a tail. Was wondering if this was a coincidence or a nod to Trisphee's mascot up there?

You know, that's really coincidental, I think. One of our super-talented artists created it with love, so only they could say for sure. I was quite impressed by it. *nods*

It's a landmass on Quesaria I'm assuming? You can make out the bird head too in between the two continental "wings." :)

I was actually asked once how to pronounce the "tri" in Trisphee because of the thread on the planets and there being three of them.

I have no idea, but since the Ascent Arco and Queen Maesha's people (who I haven't bothered to learn to spell yet) are from Quesaria, I assumed that would be the map in the picture. Dyten's people (who's name I also haven't bothered to really learn) are from Kalin.

There's also the fact that there seems to be crystals growing out of the ground on the map. I'm pretty sure Kalin doesn't have those.

kalin does have crystals, they get them imported from quesaria to help the pollution issues

Yes, that is a continent on Quesaria, and yes it was made to look like Anka. DarkWolfrin made it. (It was originally supposed to be a map for the shops, except the shops are on Kalin, and Kalin doesn't have the natural crystal growths. We decided to make it part of Quesaria and use it for this event.)

The races you speak of, quiet, are Ascent Arco, Athiyk, and Alti'ui. And there ya have it~

It is a very nice piece of art, and a very nice map. I mean that, given I've made maps for games and stories before and it's harder that it looks to come up with one that is realistic and aesthetically pleasing in arrangement.
