Event Currency: Too much? Or too little?
 

I want to know, how do you feel about the grants for this event? (Part 1 and Part 2)

Do you think it's too hard to get currency or too easy? Do you think the items are priced right?

How many event sets should a average member be able to obtain per event?

And is there anything else on your mind? (In topic)

I think you get too much or the posting currency and not enough of the rare currency. To tell you truth, I would probably have one set of jewel items and like five of the crystal sets. xD

I agree crystal items are way to easy to get.
And it doesn't help that the crystal items cost less then the jewels. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

I think the earning of currency is fine, but I think the items are priced a bit...off...in comparison to the way they're earned. I think the crystal items should have been priced MUCH higher since those are easier to earn. The gem items...I think they're priced okay...maybe a smidge bit high, but that makes them more of a 'wow I can't believe I GOT that' sort of level.

The pearl iteams...well I found them to be pretty fair, though too many people just went scampering off to get around the limits on that one IMO.

It could be switched but I think the way it was set up was to get more people to fight in the war rather than just keep posting and getting them slowly and what not. XD. But the pearl items are quite expensive, but you got them like you got crystals. XD

I could have 8 crystal sets by now <.<

But I post hundreds of times a day. I basically make1-2 sets a day.

I think posting should have been only a chance for currency, and have had a slightly higher chance for jewels. Otherwise, I think this worked out fairly well...

I'm happy with the set up also, I just think that jewel items should be like 20 jewels cheaper then they are now.
I thought the pearl event was a pain, once you get enough for a set you can't get anymore? My problem with that is future generation of members. :/ Event items shouldn't be a fortune but rather cheap items that are affordable for new members. I'm okay with rare items, we just don't need 5/6 rare items per event.

Illusion - I picked up SHITTONS of extra of the crystal bundles, solely for the purpose of helping people in the future XD

Yup. I mean, I make...an average of 9K a day right now, on sheer posting alone.

I dun think I need the like 1K these will be worth in a few MONTHS XD

For 30 worth ones maybe, it's currently 10 aurum per crystal... Maybe who knows.

I chose to sell mine cheaper than everyone else just enough one person could buy a crystal or more each time they posted.

Crystals = WAY TOO EASY
Jewels = A pain to get but most likely better.

Crystal items are way easy to get and I almost think the price of the jewel items should have been switched with the price of the crystal items. Like maybe 40 jewels for each of the three bigger jewel items and 20 crystals for each of the two small crystal items.

I dunno, it's just a thought.

Took me forever to get the full jewel set. I have 3 of the crystal ones with me selling some of my crystals.

I don't mind the granting, but I think that crystal sets should be about 100 crystals more expensive than they currently are. x.x'

As for amount people should be able to get per event, minimum one but two without horrible amounts of work, and anything more with a lot of work or buying.

I have the opposite problem, too many jewels, not enough crystals.
But I think it is dependent upon if you choose to fight or choose to post.

I'd like to point out that the proportional difficulty in getting the jewel items is, in fact, intentional. We found the "rare" sets in previous events to be too easily acquired -- we dramatically underestimated the ability for you guys to do whatever it takes to get a hoard. We figure a casual player should be able to get a single full set of items (both jewel and crystal -- keep in mind we're trying to be somewhat lurker-friendly so the crystals ARE going to be pretty easy to get because there's two different ways to get them) by the end of the event with a reasonable amount of time investment, but we do want items to exist in varying states of rarity rather than making all of them easy to get duplicates of.

That's understandable. I think with the first event, many people hoarded as much as they could, just because it was the first event you know? That's why there are so many of them around. Also the Taskal War lasted about a month, so that's why there are twice as many of those event items. I think this event is going really well compared to how easy the items were to get during the other events.

I got the last jewel and crystal items for a complete set on the same day, almost at the same time :p But I'm really lucky/skilled when it comes to the battles too. I think everything was fine, really.

I'm okay with things they way they are. I like to think of event items as being somewhat special, so it make sense that there whould be rarer items and some that are hard to get. At the same time, having crystal items be fairly common allows for a good carry over for some of the event items to hit the general marketplace circulation. As it is, I've been donating extra crystal items to charity, since I'm alreaady getting enough money from posting and dont' really see the need to sell the items for any great price, if at all.

So looks like I will probably be able to have one full event set by the end when all is said and done, maybe. Luckily I don't have to have a full event set (as in, I want every single item, there's a couple I don't really need to have) so that's all good.
I just should probably battle more than I do, heh.

I think crystals are to easy to get, jewels are a pain to get and as for pearls they where only out for 10 days not long enough imho if you had school and studies

it'd be fine if you swapped the prices, you know, make crystal items mundo hard and jewel items not so much, though i liked the way the pearl items came out in the end, though cappng them at such a high rate after a /single/ set was a bit mean, if it was two sets then fair that is no more than four per avi but even still way too many mules got made just so people could get their spares, that was a bit rediculous

Actually, the prices for all the items of a single currency even out. The cost for both all Jewel items and all Crystal items is 240 of their respective currencies.

The pearls had no cap, they had a cap on getting them per post <.<

You do get jewels for posting, but it's not that often it happens i get them on occasions.
