Worst Video Game Ever!!!

Alright here you can post the worst video games you have every played. I myself have a few. If you want to say why it sucks you can. But remember this is your opinion. Others do not share if they like then do not make them not like. (I say this because my family will do that.)
Now remember these are you own opinons.
Here is my worse list.

From worst to less worse

1. Kengo:
Master of Bushido,
Now this is a samurai game.....actually a samurai dojo game.
This is the only game that made me put it down right away. The controls are horrible. I spent most of the time looking away from the opponent so he won almost all the time.
I only got past the first part before I put it down. I am glad I only spent a little on it.

2.Kessen:
Now I have never been a fan of games that you have to look over your army. You know in a bird's eye view? But I bought the game in a sleeve so I had no idea of what I was buying. I thought it sounded cool so I got it. Though it was not what I expected.
Yes I know it is silly to hate a game for that reason but I have said that I do not like games where there are armies you watch fight. Not my thing.

3. Rockband (Ds)
Good golly. This game was interesting. Having to switch instruments in the middle of a song. If you fail to get one instrument you fail apparently. You don't even sing. You just push buttons. Why could they not do the same thing with guitar hero?

These will be updated.
So what are your worst games?

Kit Katy 08-05-2011 01:02 PM

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter

When I first saw that this game was part of my favorite series, I was all over buying it! But, my feelings toward the game shifted as I began to play. You had a time limit to complete the game, and changing into a dragon depleted your time by a lot. So, you couldn't really change into a dragon at all if you wanted to complete the game.

In addition, the story was predictable in every way.
About the only good thing about this game was the graphics. Graphics alone...? That won't make me continue playing it.

(。◕‿◕。) Two Worlds. The voice acting sucked and was beyond horrible.
And the game itself sucked badly. And
they had to make a second one too. >.>;

╚═════════════════════════════════╝

Yokuutsu 08-05-2011 02:05 PM

There are guitar heroes for ds.

Fable 1 sucked balls. At least on the PC. The controls were the worst thing ever and made me put down the game immediately. On xbox360....might not be so bad there...

Serra Britt 08-05-2011 11:35 PM

Unlimited Saga. The tutorial made no sense and battles were confusing. I couldn't figure out how to advance the game at all XP

Suzerain of Sheol 08-05-2011 11:37 PM

Pryzm, the Dark Unicorn.

/thread.

No, but seriously, that game is horrible.

Unlimited SaGa is up there, though.

Tarrek 08-05-2011 11:47 PM

Two Worlds 1000 percent. That game had soo much potential but just ruined it with horrible voice acting and countless bugs. I've heard that 2 is much better, but I won't be giving it a try.

Suzerain of Sheol 08-05-2011 11:58 PM

Oh, wait, speaking of voice acting... Chaos Wars. Yuck.

Serra Britt 08-06-2011 12:06 AM

I'm really lenient when it comes to voice acting. Especially if I like the game otherwise.

Anyways looking at stuff on my shelf I may have to add Legend of Alon D'ar to my list. I remember dying on the first real fight because I couldn't attack fast enough to kill the enemy.

Suzerain of Sheol 08-06-2011 12:07 AM

What?! No way, that game is amazing!

(I'm actually serious. It is damned hard, though.)

Ashurato 08-06-2011 12:16 AM

I agree wholeheartedly with Unlimited Saga.
I'm a huge fan of the Saga Series and this game nearly killed me with disappointment.

What were they thinking?!

Suzerain of Sheol 08-06-2011 12:17 AM

That was my only foray into the SaGa series... suffice it to say, I never returned. :p

Serra Britt 08-06-2011 12:19 AM

@Suzerain, I can't tell, I haven't made it much further than the first fight. That was incredibly disheartening XD As for SaGa games, every other one is FAR better than Unlimited SaGa. That one was just terrible.

@Ashu, I loved most of the SaGa games too. I still need to actually...PLAY Romancing SaGa :/

Ashurato 08-06-2011 12:27 AM

Saga Frontier is my penultimate game, though the Romancing Saga games were also rather good (the first ones, anyway). A lot of people hated SF1 (in the American side as least from what I've heard), but I found it fascinating and researched it extensively. I even bought Essence and the book will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Unlimited Saga was a game that had so much potential but was squandered by a hellacious battle system. Leveling your stats was impossible, the encounter rate was unnecessarily high, recovery was pathetic, and if you get stuck in a section while "traveling", you pretty much just die there and have to start over. I hadn't felt that frustrated since FF Mystic Quest. You don't even bother to think about plot and character development because you're too busy cursing at the screen for the game sucking so much.

Oh, I wasn't too fond of the game Ico either.

Dallas 08-06-2011 10:07 AM

To me, the worst games are the Dargon Age or something. I tried it and it was just awful.

Dragon Age.

Why did you hate it? (I loved it .-. But that might be partially because of gay may elf sex.)

Because the difficulty can be changed and all (if it was too easy/hard)

I actually just got that game. I havent gotten far in it. Though I have died alot. Graphics remind me of the jet grind radio game.

Ginger 08-08-2011 12:24 AM

Enchanted Arms. Really bad characters, character voices, and storyline. For example, the bad guy in the game's name is "Queen of Ice".. like the developer couldn't have named her something other that what she obviously was... the queen of ice. Just lame >.<

Ashy 08-08-2011 02:15 AM

i agree with rockband ds, it was craptastic ><

Trakadon 08-08-2011 03:20 AM

X3 series

X3 is a pc game that puts you in space with your own fighter and... That's pretty much it. You start the game and it just leaves you floating there. It doesn't tell you what controls to use or anything. Granted you can use either a keyboard and mouse or a joy stick but and the graphics are actually pretty good. But to try and fend for yourself in the game damages it to the point to nearly unplayable.

Rouge Warrior

Its a first person shooter with shitty graphics and an ABUNDANCE of swearing, which with the right amount can make the game more enjoyable in my opinion but this game just takes it way pass to much. The game could have been better but it tried to hard to make it self like Splinter cell meets Call of duty.

Singularity

I have mixed feelings about this game. Its has a good balance of horror, mystery, and action. The story grabs hold of you and holds your attention up until halfway through the game and then ( to me at least ) becomes repetitive. You go back in time and change an event, then you do again, then again, and again... The game has several weapons you can use and lets you upgrade them as you see fit but some of the weapons get so powerful that you can blow through the game rather quickly even on the hardest game setting. All in all its just an boring after you get half way through the game -shrugs-

Untold Legends

...Just no...

If you want to play this game I recommend you don't and just buy Baldur's Gate instead because that's far better then untold legends and what untold legends tried to become and failed to do so.

I have a lot more but I'll post them later

littl3chocobo 08-08-2011 07:31 AM

baroque for the gamecube, blegh, the opening was amazing and the premise was really good i liked the idea of eating harts and infesting yourself and your stuff with parasites to make you strong and could even live with the creepy monster people you live with but once you got past the idea nothing was worth it, you could only keep one or two items every level which is bullshit when it's a dungen crawler with 10-40 floors between levels and it gets harder as you go, if i have a full invo of neat things why the hell can i only keep one of them until the fifth time i died or amniesia'd back to the begining? why can i have a 15slot hold when there are only two places to toss a single item in and no more? why will a barouque fill the entire slot when my sword is more useful and the barouque collector is in the deadlands? what the hell is the point in letting me play 50 floors only to ko me from lack of item drops? it would not be so bad if you didn't have to mandatory die like five times in the first tower and there were not three more to go, this game would have been good if it wasn't like amnisia packman for the sturdy of paitence, my advice, don't spend the ten bucks on it, just youtube the cut-scenes^^:

by the way, the opening is amazing<< it /needs/ to be an anime

ShaylaSakura 08-08-2011 07:31 PM

The first Avatar The Last Airbender game. Total borefest.

Apparently I really like torture. I just bought it...I was like oh hey a square enix game! :D

Funkduder 08-10-2011 03:52 AM

I personally hate any game that's based off of a movie (movies based off of games are not the same)

fineheart234 08-14-2011 04:08 PM

resident evil outbreak. Oh my god. That was shit.
Your teamates never help you. In fact they just practically throw themselves at the enemies. I mean holy hell D:

haha yeah the possibility of gay sex was intriguing. Sadly I'm in a family home that barely approves of me initiating sex scenes in Fable for laughs. So this certainly wouldn't fly. (But if it were an achievement I totally could get away with it xD)

Besides the point I didn't enjoy either Dragon Age. 1's combat was clunky for me. 2's story was interesting but unengaging. Plus the maps look so similar...

Admittedly I got the game after they added some stuff onto it. But to me Fable 1 is the best of the 3 games. The others really failed to do anything new or evolve with the times. Since at the time the first one was made the customization was just amazing.

Mario Cart

fineheart234 08-14-2011 05:31 PM

I played this one ds game where its literally you taking care of a baby....thats right. Changing diapers, cleaning vomit, feeding and bathtime. That was this game. I forgot what its called but it was horrible.

Romances are an achievement :3 But you have to have sex to get the achievement. And don't Morigan's Ritual sex thing...does get you an achievement...just not the romance one. The combat wasn't clunky to me. I like how they did mages...they made it more complicated (casting spells) than Final Fantasy (with more than just scrolling through a list) but not ungodly hard with tracing runes and shit. And Dragon Age 2...I still like it...except the elf design. It's like a rip off of the Na'vi except minus the cat tail and blue. And Zevran lost his hotness -pouts-

I just could never get the hang of Fable I on PC...I bet if I had it on the 360...I'd like it. But I only have Fable 2 on 360...so I like it more. But I lost my saves when I upgraded to the 4 gig 360 (because of no memory card slots D: )

BTW....my family doesn't care. But then again...my mother pretty much just leaves me alone in my room...and even if she didn't...she wouldn't care what I was playing...even if I wasn't an adult. But that's my case.

Jandi 08-17-2011 11:51 AM

Oblivion. I hated it the moment I started playing it. I think it had to do with the character customization though...

Eh....I'm not big on oblivion either...but I did like it a bit. You know, not being forced to be on a certain path (like Final Fantasy....can't go off to the left....on Oblivion, you can)

Though you don't have to customize your character. They have presets. But I do agree to some extent....I don't think it's that great like some people make it out to be.

I don't mind how Final Fantasy does it's magics. But I'm glad Dragon Age didn't try to copy them. ^^ The frustration of Dragon Age 1 was it's turn-basedness. Which is honestly odd because everything flows more than KOTOR and I still love that game. =\

I wasn't too happy about how they re-designed the elves either. If I could've chosen race I would've gone with humans based on appearance because...well it's DA I chose the elves in the first one BECAUSE they were sexy.

Haha lucky! I get left alone in my room but the 360 is in the living room. There's a reason she wouldn't be bothered by same-sex in game besides principal. Unfortunately.

Trent 08-20-2011 12:40 AM

I'd have to say Fable 2 and Fable 3, the original Fable was a great game, for the Xbox, but two and three were just horrible games, they barely followed the plot and they were short and pathetically easy, I got all the non-multiplayer achievements in both the games the first day.

I don't mind how Final Fantasy does magic...depending on how you get abilities (I HATE THE SPHERE GRID! -rages-) Well, in battle it is kind of sort turn based. (Not designated turns or anything...) You can't attack with two handed sword the instant attacked with it. Though it may not be realistic on the turns though...but neither are darkspawn real. I've never played KOTOR. All Star Wars games...suck imo though I did love the movies lol.

In 2, that's why I'm kind of glad they don't give you the choice of elves. They look like Na'vi...minus the parts I liked lol.

The 360 is in my room. My mother doesn't play video games like that. I've bought all the games and the system itself. It's mine lol.

balakiel 09-18-2011 04:49 AM

I'll go with a flash game for this one

Meat Boy gets WAAAAAY too much credit as a good flash game, to the point where people actually pay to play it, and it's downloadable on steam.

Why? It isn't really hard. They make it hard by making you slide 30 damn feet whenever you move. That's imaginary difficulty.

a game i just hate her... oh omfg i have it.. Orphan I adored that old anime to death and the 2nd series was just great but the game.. what were they smoking D: it was pretty much walk in a line play style and there was no purpose it didn't tie into the anime and tossed you in the middle of some unknown plot that was just all over the place. Let alone the voice actors were different from the anime -.-;

Are you talking about the Orphen one where they use magic and stuff? -didn't know there was an anime...onl read some of the manga-

I don't think the game was too bad...not good either, but it does waste time when I had it though I didn't really like it.

The worst video game I've ever played would have to be Mystic Heroes. It's storyline and plots are so cliche, it's cheesy. I guess, if you look at it like a comedy game, it's alright. But it was made as a fantasy RPG. The controls were so-so, and the game play was nothing extraordinary. Overall, it's been the only video game I haven't enjoyed. It just didn't have any of that extra spark to it.
