The only one I own is Black Ops..and that's just because my boyfriend Sam Worthington did the voice of Mason.
also, I like it because in the one Zombies map, you can play as Sarah Michelle Gellar.. |
I have Black Ops, but I only bought/play it for Zombies... working on getting all the map packs, I still need First Strike and... Annihilation, I think. The ones with Ascension and Shangri-La.
I keep meaning to play the single player, but every time I play it I go straight to Zombies. >w>;; |
I prefer the older CoD games over the modern Mw games. World at war is one of my favorites.

I've played CoD2, Modern Warfare 1 and 2, World at War, and Black Ops. I like Black Ops the most. I'm looking forward to MW3. Not really sure whether or not to pick it up for the PS3 or PC (if it does come out for PC).

But I havnt been on to reply on it lol! Right now I have Cod 4 thru 7. I like them all lol. Zombies is such a big hit. I have every map on World at war, and on black ops. hah. I sure hope MW3's survival mode is good. I mean it looked hella fun on the preview. |
I got all the map packs now. Basically just for the Zombies maps since I don't have Gold. OTL Even if I did I wouldn't play anything but Zombies online, anyway.

I don't really get to play much CoD, 'cuz my brother hogs the PS3. Plus, the PS3 is 45 miles away from me...aha.
When I do get the chance, I'll hop onto zombies first and co-op with friends. I have all of the map packs as well. I haven't tried out the new special gun though. |

It's awesome, in both forms. The Zap gun is a little less awesome because if you're moving while you shoot it's really easy to miss, but watching zombies explode never gets old. XD; |
I gotta go try my luck with the random box and hope i get that gun early on in the game >x<

eeeh i have fun only when im playing around, like hiding in plain sight. childish, yes I know, but I have absolutely no skills in shooter games, but my brother insists on me playing with him. :P though shooting chickens wa kind of fun....and playing hide and seek.

@Cyanide: I tried getting that easter egg on my own before too. I think I got up to step 2, but somehow, my crawlers exploded on the other side of the map and started a new round. I got mobbed right after >_<
@Lost: Hiding's not a bad strategy. I tried doing that before, but no one ran around where I was. By the time I got up, someone shot me XD I figured that I run around and shoot whoever I see. That works for me, but everyone does their own thing~ |
i kind of exaggerated XP i do actually have fun while taking it seriously, i just get bored very quickly....i do ok on certain levels, and only on those levels :P

I had a crawler die on me before, I think that was on Der Riese though... and once a crawler disappeared on me on Ascension and got replaced... which was weird 'cause I'd just let it hit me a bit before that. |

Yep! I was by the launcher that has Stamin-Up near it, looking for the teddy bear.. I kept hearing the noise and I didn't wanna turn the computer on to find out exactly where it was so I spent a lot of time running around over there so maybe that was why.
I find it kind of odd that the crawlers can jump up on the second floor of the starter room too. o_o; I watched one do that the other day, I was just like... WTF. |

I've never seen that happen before. The only weird things I've seen was when I lagged during a hellhound part, and when they die, they're just standing there, frozen. Also with the crawler turning into a runner. That's about it. |
I've seen them climb over the fence on Der Riese, too. o_O

I think my favorite levels of zombies are the classic ones. I think by far the hardest level of zombies is "Five" I can NEVER do good on it.. lol

I like Nacht der Untoten (The first zombie map) and Kino Der Untoten (the theater one in BOps).
I didn't really like Five, cuz it felt awkward running around in that place. :P |

I have a hard time picking a favorite map. Kino is awesome (and the map I started with!), but I love Der Riese, Moon and Ascension too. I also love Verruckt because it's the only map that's really creepy IMO. At first I didn't like Nacht der Untoten much, but it's grown on me. I haven't played Shi no Numa much. I do like Shangri-La but it's so hard. @_@ It's one of the only ones I still can't even get to round 10 on. Edit: Oh I forgot Dead Ops! I don't play it a lot, but it's fun. |
I've gotten to wave 30 or so on Shangri-La with a party of 4. We camped out on the rope bridge that's between the waterfall and the mudpit area. I hate the monkeys in that map though. And the easter egg needs a lot of coordination too x__x

I have the tendency to camp out on that bridge too, which... is kind of bad when you're playing on solo. XD; It's fine for the early rounds but eventually they're going to start coming from both ways at once and then you're pretty much screwed because it's too narrow to dodge them. :C
It's just way too easy to get surrounded or cornered on that map. @_@ |
I try to stay in the power room, because you can run in circles in that rom, and get all of the zombies in one giant mob. When I feel comfortable, I'll turn around and walk backwards while shooting them. When things get too crazy, I run to the spawn (if I have Jug/didn't get killed on the way). That's another place where you can run in circles. :3

Yeah, I do that sometimes, but there's a couple places where zombies can pop out and surprise you.

I like that you can hold three guns now instead of two with the new perk ^^ |
Ooh, yeah. I've heard of that perk. I've only played Moon once, and I'm (still) nowhere near a console with Black Ops. My "gaming" laptop is crippled, meaning that it overheats after playing 30 minutes of one game.

Cyanide- What's worked for me (and my party) is that we usually go around looking for Jug either next to the mudpit or the mine cart. Once we find it, we just camp out in the area (on the bridge for mudpit; on the actual cart in the mine cart area).
I'm not too sure about soloing that map. I haven't done it before. |

My brother bought it for the PS3. I would've gotten it for the 360 and maybe get Live as well. I don't have an Xbox on me, or a stable internet either. Internet in the dorms are bipolar x__x

I've played with my friend a couple times, and games with random people aren't so bad. This is coming from someone who two days ago swore up and down that they didn't like playing games with other humans. o_o;; |
Hahaha. Playing with other humans makes it interesting though :P
It gets addicting after awhile. I laugh when I hear people raging. I just think: "Dude. It's a game. Stop complaining about the guy who killed you." XD |
Yeah, it is pretty fun. ^^ I noticed I get less aggravated about dying on co-op than I do on solo. XD
The only time I've gotten annoyed on co-op so far is when people come up right behind me and shoot the zombies in my window. WTF! |
I know right! Everyone has their own window, and some people get greedy >_>
I also hate it when they throw grenades at you/your window too. If I wasn't so shy about going on my mic, I'd yell at them. I just start throwing all of my grenades at the person when he/she's at them/their window if they don't stop. I hardly use my grenades anyways, cuz I forget that I have them. I even forget about having the monkey or the portal thingy too XD |
