That's the first trailer of the official movie thats coming out next year. It looks pretty freaking awesome, but it may confuse others at first since it seems so random. But its by Zack Synder so I don't see how it could be bad. :P

I can'twait to seee it. :O

Vox 07-27-2010 08:11 PM

The title left me sort of "eh" but the trailer looks amazing. I will be seeing this. Hopefully not too much boobage in it. I do not need to see another remake of Charlie's Angels.

Harlequin 08-16-2010 10:39 AM

I have been waiting for that movie to come out for maybe a year and a half now. The movie looks like its going to be amazing and Emily Browning looks so different in it.

Muff Muff 08-16-2010 11:05 AM

Um...What the hell? It's about a bunch of burlesque dancers trying to escape with dragons, and ninjas, and guns... :I

Burial 08-29-2010 01:20 AM

i was never really interested in it because of the title but my brother showed me the preview for it today and omg, it looks like its going to be an AMAZING movie

SanePsycho 02-15-2011 06:50 PM

The trailers started playing recently on tv, and the movie will be in theaters next month. I first got wind of this movie while watching the Comicon coverage on G4. I can hardly wait!

Madam Kira 03-04-2011 06:59 PM

I can't wait to see that movie!!'
I'm so ready for it to come out!
Looks amazing.

johnny 03-10-2011 03:38 PM

It looks so ridiculous, but it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously (the promo seems really serious, but it's got dragons and girls fighting in school uniforms - it can't possibly take itself seriously) so I suppose I can't fault it. Still, I wouldn't go to theaters for it. I would maybe Netflix it or something.

Gozed 03-18-2011 01:22 PM

I just like going to the movies, so I'll probably end up seeing it. I saw the trailer for it back when I went to see Unstoppable, and it looked extremely funny to me. At one point I went "Was that a robot?...WAS THAT A DRAGON?!...Okay, the chick in the schoolgirl outfit just kicked a Nazi in the face, someone remembered to do their acid this morning."

Desmond 03-26-2011 10:42 AM

I went last night to go see it. EPIC! SO MUCH EPICNESS!!! I went with a friend who mentioned to me that, "Damn if they had put hot chicks in LOtRs, maybe it wouldn't have been so boring for me." I just laughed.

Good movie. REALLY good movie.

Cross 03-26-2011 12:23 PM

I agree with Desmond, on the EPICNESS front. I saw it last night on IMax. It was beautifully done, the actors were amazing, and the soundtrack. Don't even get me started on that. Everything flowed, and just fit. It was a little wonky plot line, with it's disjointed perspective, but ya know, it worked. The intro scene really grabs at you and pulls you in immediated. My hats off to Snyder. He really knows how to throw a great party.

NikkoGallarado 03-26-2011 01:10 PM

I plan on seeing some time soon, I never really liked 300 or Watchmen in all honesty but this looks like something I would like to watch. I was enjoying what was shown in the trailers.

Gozed 03-29-2011 05:07 AM

I saw it Sunday night, and honestly, I was bored. My friends I went with absolutely loved it, called it "Live action anime."
But to me, the story and acting were lacking. In fact, the story reminded me of Shutter Island and Inception, which I later found out the director of Shutter Island is the same director of Sucker Punch, which may explain a few things.

Taiki 04-06-2011 02:26 AM

I saw it a couple of days ago after some people told me they thought it was horrible because they didn't understand it. @o@ I was confused for about the first 20 minutes, but once I understood what was happening, I thought it was AMAZING. *o*

Lauv Keiko 04-06-2011 07:11 AM

After reading a few of your commentaries, it just made me want to watch the movie more.

Ultima 04-06-2011 07:12 PM

I thought the girls were pretty nice to look at.

The "three alternate realities" thing kinda bugged me, because by the end, you don't know which was the "real" storyline. And

But I personally liked it. I saw it with my friend, and we were both going *0* at all the special effects and hot girls killing things fighting scenes >>; I kinda liked all the twists and turns and the "dream worlds", but it was fairly confusing x.x I had no problem with the acting though. O.o

And I do think that if Emily Browning (Babydoll) had played Bella like Stephanie Meyer wanted, Twilight would have been better, at least to look at >>;;

Chi 04-06-2011 09:30 PM

I really liked the movie.
And like it was stated before it's like Inception.
If you've seen Inception and you understand that movie, you can understand this movie a little better.

To maybe help you Ultima, the reality is the beginning of the movie. o-o; Which includes the end.
The end of the movie was about to begin but what would be the point of seeing a 10 minute movie? xD;
So they explained the events that occurred in Babydoll's fantasy world.

Mica 04-16-2011 01:06 PM

I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it. I don't see the hatred towards it though, it was entertaining but I think the story left me a little 'meh'. I didn't get the level of awesome-special effects(probably spoiled by Rango), but it is packed with epicness, that's for sure. XD Besides, I enjoyed the fan service. >.>

I definitely wouldn't have watched it if the movie wasn't free. (Woo promos!)

nipple ring 04-16-2011 02:34 PM

i still need to go see this movie!
it looks so cool
but my friends that have seen it think it's great <3
though a little weird but i still want to see
it it looking entertaining!

CupcakeDolly 04-30-2011 04:55 AM

Loved, loved, LOVED this movie! It's the kind of mind-fuck+special effects+themes+cute costumes stuff that I adore all packed into one. I work at a grocery store, and when the movie comes out on DVD, I'm totally taking the cardboard DVD poster/rack home with me! >w<

Glitch 04-30-2011 11:19 PM

I have not seen it yet D: I think that I would though. ^_^

Echo-chan713 05-07-2011 02:28 PM

I finally watched the movie, its was cool but then I got all sad and disappointed at the end

ShaylaSakura 05-23-2011 08:25 PM

I went and saw this with friends. The action was cool. :3

Itch 05-24-2011 07:22 AM

Movie's action was just awesome <3 I got confused a lot throughout the movie but it was still good.

(I'm gonna get a haircut similar to Rocket's in a few days and my older sister has a haircut like Sweetpea's x'D LOLOLOL)

Batty 05-24-2011 12:31 PM

I was supposed to go see this with a friend of mine when it came out. xD;
He ended up ditching me, thus, I have to wait for it to come out on DVD so I can see it. ><;

Elf healer 07-16-2011 05:48 AM

I really loved this movie. Action was great, the plot was slightly confusing to me with those dream-in-a-dream things but it was still really good!

I had no idea Emily Browning sang! She sang two songs that are on the original soundtrack. One is Sweet Dreams (are made of this) and I don't remember the other, but her version of Sweet Dreams is so good <3

Elf healer 07-16-2011 05:56 AM

Can't delete. Don't know how D:

CupcakeDolly 07-25-2011 03:50 AM

I totally need to buy a copy of this!! I should've done so back when I had cash to burn.

OMGBATTYWESHOULDWATCHTHISMOVIETOGETHER!!

fineheart234 07-27-2011 01:37 PM

It was pretty good. Lots of fun. Though it was a movie that you should not think to hard when you watch it though.

I loved this movie. It was so pretty. I am a big fan of aesthetics. Though I find it interesting that the guy who made this movie made 300, and only the narrator escaped.

Daring Scylla 10-28-2011 03:34 PM

it was a really interesting movie but I had to watch it twice to 'get' it - the plotline was derpy for me.

i loved the outfits and action sequences

Echo-chan713 10-28-2011 06:41 PM

I couldn't understand what timeline/time period they were at.

Poggio 10-28-2011 06:58 PM

Well its like a tim burton movie, its pretty much outside of time in a timeless bubble. But I want to say modern times.

Echo-chan713 10-28-2011 08:24 PM

I do want to say 1940s but they have 1920s car

Poggio 10-28-2011 09:04 PM

I think 1940s might be closer, there were mention of Nazi's and if you are correct about the car it would explain how they were able to get away with such a medieval medical treatment.

Kyon 10-29-2011 02:09 AM

I really liked it. I heard some people saying it was bad, but I don't think it was bad at all.

Steam 10-29-2011 09:01 PM

I absolutely adored the costuming. The time period was hard to figure out, but I believe you are correct in saying it's sometime in the 1940s.

Rocket was quite possibly my favorite.

Poggio 10-29-2011 09:25 PM

Costuming wise I enjoyed Sweetpea's in fantasy world costume. Dance wise, I liked the teachers. Her corsets were beautiful.

Ishu 11-11-2011 04:10 AM

YESSSSSSSSSSSS

that is all. ^^
