I have just registered, how exciting. My friend Arrikanez pointed me in this direction, and Trisphee seems interesting enough to hop into.

Let's see... I like sailboats (ahoy?), and I am a programmer by trade. I also do webmaster-type things, and I draw sometimes.

Also, I spend way too much time on the mighty interwebs. I feel I should also comment that a little poseable megaman is staring at me, as if saying, "Come at me, bro."

Yeah, I spent a bit looking at the avatar system. It's interesting, although could use some refinement, I think. The lack of hair was too annoying to allow it to stay. :P Of course, that meant I could only have free things for everything else.

Well! I feel less unique talking all unnecessarily proper all of a sudden. ;.; Alas! That is just how it goes.

Classy gents will talk like classy gents, or some such nonsense.

It's surprising but this site is very literate. I rarely see anyone on here using chat speech or anything; it's not always perfect grammar, but a happy medium leaning more towards proper.

:D That's good. I try to avoid places that lack people being able to type complete sentences.

I do as well. It drives me crazy that they can't put in just a smidge more effort, even just enough to make it understandable some places. Also punctuation makes my day a little brighter.

A little effort in typing goes a long way.

A little more effort, and you get mildly preposterous, flowery talking...which I like to do, when I'm in the mood for it. :)

I love fluffed up, overly decorated, bordering on pompous writing. It's alot of fun.

It most certainly is! It is also entertaining to do that while throwing in arbitrary smilies. Make it seem so serious and proper, then throw in a cat face... Well, if the forum has that, which this clearly does not. XD

I also love when you start using a more elevated level of English the people your talking to tend to mimic and write using the same style.

It is quite humorous when they quickly smarten up. I just wish that kind of mentality would work on other people from school.Just listening to them sometimes is a chore. Oh well c'est la vie. So how old are you?

I am, in fact, 24. :O I always feel like that number is wrong...too big, but, hey, that's how it goes.

So, my forays into programming & webmastering generally involve getting paid. (Less often on the webmastering thing, but ah well.)

I have to say that I'm not surprised at your age. You seemed to be more mature. Oh, I have an idea. Try guessing my age. :)

I'm gonna go with 20. It's a nice number.

Sorry wrong, I'm 17. No one ever gets it right. :) I am closer to 18 so considering the amount of years in the average humans life, you're decently close I guess. :P

:P Close enough! Really, it's nearly impossible to properly guess ages on the Internet. And, unless you intend on meeting people in person, it doesn't really matter, either.

I know, I just find it amusing to see what people guess. I like knowing about people I'm talking to so I tend to ask lots of generic questions. For example I always ask people what their favorite colour is.

Well, I was building up to it! Hmmm it could either be the obvious or something utterly random....is it blue or are you being devious?

It varies between blue & green depending on my mood. So, no, I'm not being devious. :P On forums where you don't build your avatar, I usually use an extremely blue avatar picture.

Blue is a nice colour, Green is my favourite. So I guess I'm more devious as the only Green on my avatar is the eyes. How about another random question? Favourite animal?

My favorite animal is the dolphin. If I had to pick a specific species, I'd go with either the striped dolphin or the dusky dolphin. :D

Yes, well... I love the ocean. And dolphins are much cooler than giraffes & turtles, honestly.

Bottlenose dolphins are the assholes of the ocean. <3 (Just as humans are the assholes of the land.)

I have to say that I just about died laughing about the bottle nose dolphin comment. So have you seen The Cove?
