Beta Item. ANSWERED
 

I remember someone saying something about a special Beta only item.. Is that true? I think I remember posting in a thread about it, but my memory is so crappy I forget. Or was it something about donating in Beta state that we get this item? D: So confused!

Yeah, I'm on the staff and even I'm confused about the special items.

We get Anka, the phoenix item, and Beta Fishies for being Beta testers.
Later, it seems there will be also Open beta tester items.
We will also be able to buy DIs - Doantion Items - when site opens. 2 will be for real money, one for aurum.
There will also be yearly items.

The special beta items will be handed out when users have the ability to have more than one item in their inventory of that particular item, and also when we have the ability to put those items in their inventories.

Well, yes and no, Yearly items will be something we'll always have, where as they got rid of the feature after the first year.

They probably had their reasons :3

Ehhh yes and no. Solia's got yearlies again, they're just fewer in number and staggered. And there's some 3 and 6 month items, too.

Ah, so there's beta items once there's a shop for them, basically, am I understanding it right now? xD I've been so confused on that point.

Those aren't yearlies, they're calling those seasonals, which will be like our seasonals. We will have yearlies all year and seasonals every three months. Then there's the di's every month.

We aren't putting the beta items in a shop. We're going to insert them into users inventories when we have the coding to support it. Which should be soon.

Hopefully your not Solia and sell stuff for 20 bucks >.> keep with 10 bucks and under... Or a lot of people will think badly of you selling pixels for a lot of money.

I believe the items will be even lower than 10 if memory serves correct. However, we will wait and see. I don't want to make an official "this is how much it will be" post until I talk to fen

But most of my posts were before the switch over.

We always make sure to keep our users updated, so no matter what, we will inform everyone both on here and on facebook of what's going on.

i think solia sells such expensive yearly items b/c it's hard to maintain their site w/ no ads.

Sora and Itchweed are both wearing items from before the inventories were wiped; as am I. if you don't recognize an item, it's probably just not been re-uploaded yet.

There are a lot of items that aren't going to be re-uploaded for a little while. Some of which will be purchasable with runes.

All the hair will be uploaded however. We just have over 50 hairstyles so some aren't up yet.
