Zelda: Skyward Sword
 

Hey guys, well this is the most anticipated nintendo game for 2011, anyone planning to get, it if so on Wii or 3DS? Im getting it on the Wii and cant wait to test out the motion plus feature. Has anyone played the demo version, any thoughts on it?

from what ive seen of it, looks like a really fun game, except it seems really bright and the trailer already made my eyes hurt, so im going to have to play the game in hour-increments or something....i cant wait though :P

Defs getting this game, but I agree it looks a bit bright and I wish they stayed with the TP graphics instead of these new cell shaded kind idk.

I wasn't aware it was being released on 3DS.

I got the Collector's Edition for Wii. My opinion on it is that it's the lovechild between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

I like the game so far except that.. there is no Hyrule.. as far as I can tell >.>, kinda lame xp

^ 100% this. I haven't played it yet, but I've seen plenty of trailers, screenshots, official art, etc. I liked the first art of it that was released: It looked very much like Twilight Princess. But then they ruin it and give us HAPPY YAY BRIGHT COL0RZ world. Meh.

Like I said before, lovechild between Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.

The art style, control, and story of this game are almost perfect. Ocarina of Time is still the number 1 Zelda game, but this is a close 2nd.

Well I just beat the game. I LOVED IT!

Its ending is so pretty x3

and I love how.. Link can't play a harp >.>, he's terrible at it

My brother got frustrated with the Forest Temple because he couldn't figure out how to kill the Skulltulas. XD I was using the computer while he was playing, and suddenly he storms into the room, shoves me the Wii-mote, and says, "Alright, go show me up. I can't figure out how to kill the frikkin' spiders!"

I'd say it's on-par with TP, if slightly better. Right now I'm up to a point where all lines of thought are going "Link, you insufferable TWAT! There's fucking LAVA that way! Don't JUMP in it!!!"

I liked it playing it with my sister. Didn't see a lot of it though. I don't think he looks that good with baggy pants.

Can the new Ocarina be played on DS as well as 3DS? It seems some games can. Couldn't tell with some of them since the store had price tags infront of some of the package details.

got the 3ds ocarina of time game, nope have to have a 3ds... the controller is even different

-my sister asked about it and said but what if we saw off that corner they added to see if it would, well I'm not about to try that anyway more likely would ruin it if someone where to try that-

they added that though because there are two features that are different on the 3ds that the others don't have
1 you have the old game stick that is similar to how you moved on the n64 version and two when you have it in view mode like when you are trying to get past the huge guards while trying to get to saria you can move the 3ds and by tilting it it moves it in the game, also makes shooting arrows easier (doesn't think other ds systems have that but just guessing since none of my normal ds games have that feature)
hardest part I had in the game so far was trying to catch those fish without a rumble pack

Good think I still have a fully functioning N64 that I hope my sister is taking good care of. I was meticulous with the thing. Had a little cloth over it so dust and crap wouldn't get into the cartridge slot.

I had no problem with the 3DS version xD I had a problem with the 64 version since my hands aren't used to the controller =w=,

I never had a 64, and I don't have a 3DS. I have the Zelda Special Edition Collector's Pack for GC. It has Legend of Zelda, Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask all on one disk.

Ocarina is still my favourite game I think, having played TP though and from what I've seen of SS.

I love my N64. It has Asteroids! And I'm not sure why, bot Pokemon Snap is still stupidly amusing. My copy of Gex doesn't work well though. Never been able to find a replacement. Makes me sad. :(

I got my 64 off of amazon like 4 years ago x'D I got it JUST for zelda -w-, my friend gave me all of his games so i have games I don't even play =/

The only game for 64 that I really wish I could get now is Harvest Moon 64. I love those games!

Never played that one. Just watched my sister play it on Playstation. I'd love to see Bomberman 64 come back though, or a bomberman game in general. Great fun!

the 3DS has a Bomberman game in the eShop o.O

But I don't have a 3DS! And can't afford to get one right now. Is it backwards compatable?

I have a DSlite. Not entirely sure what that mean, but it's served me fine so far.

My DS is ancient. It's one of the big clunky silver original models.

I still have a Game Gear. Take that for clunky!

I still have an Atari 3000, and it works!
