A long and desolate famine has spread across the land of Deivai. Catastrophes have spread like a wild fire in the dry heat of summer. Our desert is harsh, but it is home. We must find a way to survive...But I believe...that we must continue on and I must accept a mission of great importance. I am of the children of Nairu...I have come from beyond the desert storm, risked my life for a mission, my mission. I am to travel to my water brethren...I am to try to make peace for my people are in a state of need. I must succeed but I cannot without help. Please help me, take me into the sea of Deivai...make this expedition and you will be greatly rewarded. It is dangerous...but beyond the Great Barrier of water and wind lies a paradise. Hidden in plain site, we must get past this and we must succeed, surely there are a few souls out there who need more than can be provided and surely you could use my help.

I was able to get an entire set too! I now have 3 waters and 29 food left lolol

The stories were a great idea, though it seems i make poor choices considering how many times I have died XD

Is the game really the only way to get event currency? That's going to make it really hard to even get a few of the event items.

No the currency was mostly earned before this part started by posting in the threads.

Because it is part of the event, the pre-event was collecting waters and rations as they became scarcer until none are left. Once this even started all the water and rations disappeared and you have to use them wisely until the end of the event.

Well, that's why we decided to make it "play until you win" instead of "three plays per hour". We didn't realize just how deadly the stories were when we were writing them until it all got put together for testing. I tried to make it less brutal by reducing the chances of actions having bad results, but it all still adds up to be pretty mean, so we decided to go for a more fair solution.

So the game is the only way to get food and water.. Sad day, I missed out on the event before this one..
Any one have sets they want to sell?

Some of the contests, when we get them up, will have ration/water or event items prizes, too.

Also, as an aside: We're thinking about making the ruby and the treasure equippable items so that they have value if you don't need more rations or water.
