Rem's Freebs - ink sketches
Hey I feel like doing a few freebies while I'm taking a break from all the massive amounts of packing I've been doing @3@ I need something to keep me from kneeling over asleep, so! Hello Trisphites, come get some URT!
I will be doing ink sketches -- for those that know me and my art, yes, those kind of ink sketches. :D Not as detailed as they normally are, unless your avi just *speaks* to me. Tips are loved but not necessary. Samples you say? Well here's an ink drawing I did over the weekend: Your art will not be nearly that detailed, but that's an idea of what I mean when I say 'ink sketches' (At least I say it won't be that detailed, but knowing me I'll probably get absorbed in the piece without realizing it and you will get one like that after all. xD It's just the luck of the draw and the luck of my mood, really) So come on, come all! Will do: Some avatars, some OCs, anthro (I'll give it a try this time) Won't do: All black (kill my poor pen!), cluttered avatars/OCs, weaponry Completed |

I'm not sure that I've actually seen your art before, Rem! Oh, ink! Oh, sketches! Those are two words that I love to hear. I've always admired the life and passion held in traditional works. There's something simply magical about them — but I do digress.
If you find him interesting, I have a fella here that I could always use a bit more love for. Though he does come with quite a bit of freedom as far as his age, clothing, and hair length goes... Freedom is good, right? I like a good dose of freedom anyway. Aha~ Either way, I really look forward to seeing what you come up with for the lovely folks around here. |

But I'm only as far as the face, and the faces were pretty much the same, hair covering one side The hair will just be a little darker than bright blonde, but it's black and white so Yeah I can do that one you've got right now :3 It won't be more than a bust shot probably I'm not doing full bodies for freebies Gallagher - haha probably not. Sorries, but thanks. And yeah, I tend to use that hair a bit too much actually, it's one of my favorites!
And I adore freebies no matter what size, I just really liked this avatar when I made it. I mostly liked the flow of the shapes and angles so black and white works great for that. And feel free to avoid any parts that are gonna be frustrating. |

Aha! Those cute little chibi type things look familiar. I think I might have taken a peek at this once before... Strange that I can't remember more than those! Something about the way you do faces is quite interesting, by the by. |

Can't now, at any rate, tablet's dead. ;_; man I miss it terribly. I'm so rusty with pencil and paper and ink xD Like seriously the quality between is like night and day. But real life doesn't have an undo button Oh and thank you :D Faces in ink can be...really interesting. Yikes, that's never any fun. It was terrible when my last tablet died. I'm trying really hard to take care of my current one, but it's still starting to bug out on me a little... Oh dear...
I used to do ink work all the time. Trust me, I know, lol! But it's so terribly fun, it's worth an... interesting turn every now and then. |

I thought those were elf ears at first haha. But they're like furry ears? Gallagher - Go for it! Draw draw, draw all day. There's nothing wrong with drawing at aaall. [/biased] And bamboos are great, I used it for a long time, my ex had just gotten me an Intuios and the difference was like night and day. But I can't use the Bamboo's tablet pen on it. Kind of a rip >_< A new pen is a good 60 dollars some places. I think 30 on eBay though. Hard to find tho |

New pens are horrible for my wallet, I swear. I don't know what I'd do if I lost mine. I keep it around all the time. I even use it for my DS! Aha, I never, ever forget where I last put it.
