WOW!
I can't have been here for more than a week and I already have a mess of items that I really wanted! Wolf skin, moons, WINGS! If you saw me right now I'd be jumping up and down! (As much as you can while you are at a computer.)
So! What have you gotten here as a newbie that made you flip your lid! Or flap your wings, or clap your flippers... which ever you do is fine. <3 Also what have you gotten recently that you are all *squeeeeeee* for?! My next item I'm after is Feral Virtue, I love animal themed items! *dances around!!!* <- (If there was an achievement for dancing in the most threads! I would WIN!) |
I don't remember if I ever got anything when I first started. I do remember filling out a charity form, so I suppose I should've gotten something...or maybe that was for the Newbie Adoption?
-can't remember- I do remember a few random aurum and Rune donations from friends some time later, though. People here are generally really nice. |

Most of the items I own were from donations. <3 Or were bought using aurum donated to me. ^-^ An item I recently got that I've squee-ed over? My Abyssal Angel, that I got with aurum I actually earned. <3 Oh! And my Armor of the Decayed.

Faux-Faux! You are looking rather fancy and flighty now ^_^ Your avi is very, very prettiful!! Do you notice anthony new about mah avi? ~Kat twirls around on her tippy-paws~ A certain Pink Ninja attacked me whilst I was roaming from world to world and gifted me half to death! Well, not 100% gifted with these particular things, but she procured them and sold them to me for something like half price Ô_Ô When I first started, that self-same Pink Ninja did almost killed me with giftiness! She gave me event currency with which to get the event items, some commons from the shops, some Tris birthday stoofs, and enough aurum to get me started <3 Then, out of nowhere ... *insert spooky music here* ... a mysterious benefactor or benefactress gifted me a Celestial Wolf. This person has been dubbed "The Fiend" because they will not show themselves >_> @Serena, you REALLY should check out the Charities. Even if you don't want donations, there are almost always people to talk with in the threads ^_^ |
I have to get my quest thread started to I can sort out all these crazy items I want. For REAL!

congrats on getting some great items Faux! I will say that if you like wings Trisphee is the place to be -- we have a -ton- of beautiful wing items, in DIs, in YIs -and- in EIs, where else are you going to find that I ask ya :'D

Apparently I have to catch up! I only have one of most items. Wow! Some people really stockup! I wonder if that is for selling later or what? I'm trying to post like the dicken from my phone. But man is this tiny screen annoying. Plus I'm annoyed at where I am.

Aha, I know how you feel! I love the item Sa'riel, Abyssal Angel and the Spirit of Treachery. I thought they were so awesome..Well I just couldn't help but donate immediately! This website has the most awesome items ever, hands down.

Back to topic, I think... the fact I could get any items at all made my run rounds on my cloud, because they were like, first items on the site, and afterwards, I was really happy for 1st monthlies ever and Pandora set, especially those gifted to me. Felt really precious. But most of my whooah gifts I got when I wasn't newbie anymore. |

Alpha and I each got an awesome item from Mizzy/Obbie. Considering my firs cosplay was Navi the Irlandeza's Blessing was an awesome gift.

I can't be a Posting Machine, so I won't even try to aim for a Completion Quest like yours.... I will simply find items that I really like and work on them one at a time. Right now, I *REALLY* want a Bakeneko because of the companion kitteh pose. You, mah dear, are doing an awesome job... and I am in awe of your mad skills ^_^ As far as donations go... I feel weird being on the receiving end of a donation. I'm so used to being the one giving that I become flummoxed when someone gives me a gift :o I did ask for a couple things from the Commons Grab in the main 10K CPC Charity thread, but my post was either missed or I was denied. I wasn't even given the option to buy the commons at a discount *hangs head to hide face* Oh, well. *shrug* I did get a really special ADI from the Anonymous Fiend Gifter and today I got a donation of aurum from the Winged Fox (thank you both!!)... so I feel special <3 The most help I have received is from Pinkie. She bought Zephyr's Bundle, and sold it to me for only a fraction of how much it cost her *OH MY!* Lets just say that I am eternally grateful!! <3 <3 |

I think a quest for all pinks and blacks should be doable. You will certainly become more informed about the different items on the site, which will come in quit handy for contests like the one Reyo just did *nod*
I am thinking that my current main quest for the Bakeneko may be a very, very long term quest since so many people want the item, but no one seems to be selling. If there are sellers out there, I haven't found one >.< ~Kat wants a kitteh companion for her avi!~ |
