Three questions...
 

1) See the pretty sash I'm wearing? That's from before the wipe--I haven't resaved my avvie, so it's still there, I guess. But for the life of me I can't find it again in the shops! Has it not been put in yet, or am I going crazy and it's actually right in front of my eyes? xD Knowing what shop it's in would be great.

[s]2) Where are the rules/TOS? I looked around a bit and I don't see them. I can't remember if you're allowed to have mules or Trisphee (or how many if so) so I'd like the rules for that, and for future reference![/s] Found! http://www.trisphee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497

3) I know we could in closed beta, but are we going to be able to wear multiple poses of the same item? ie. The item "Magical Example" has a hat, shirt and shoes. I buy one Magical Example. Can I wear the hat, shirt, and shoes all at once, or do I need to buy three of the Magical Example?

I believe I read in another thread that you'll need to buy one copy of the item for each pose you want to equip.

That's gonna make them that much harder to part with if it's only one pose per item. I may never get rid of any I get in order to wear the items in multiple positions.

Oh, that would be great. It would allow more people to have the items as people would be more inclined to sell and discourage a bit of hoarding (but probably not the worst of it).

@Ash and Logan and Coda and Sadrain: Yeah, it'd be nice if we could wear the item with multiple poses, cause we're getting one Phoenix, right, but it has more than one pose. I'd like to wear all the poses *nods*

Well, that's what was said back in July. I don't believe it's changed since then. There's also this to keep in mind:

Because with the commons, each "pose" is really a different colour. I thought it woulds be like that...where the bird is a separate item...the anklets separate..etc. which each item holding the 9 colours *nods*

I just am partial to the idea of item sets XDD Like the starter item set! Pandora... I thought it DI's and such..would be like that.. Mehhh.. *shrugs*

Well, there is DIs, too, Pandora Boxes, or smth. XD The ones we get till, like end of August for every time we donate 1+ dollar.

One of each color phoenix would seriously make my day.

I think there should be at least one pose that makes so you can wear all of them together. Or a pose for two item combo. It IS a special item after all.

I don't disagree with that idea; Gaia has some of its multi-pose items with poses that are just combinations of other poses (for example left wing only, right wing only, both wings, halo, both wings plus halo).

Yeah It's a good idea cause we'll probably never get another Anka. :/

Thats actually a really good idea. I will have to talk to zypher about that because that would probably go over better <.<

Also for the moment you can wear as many poses for one item as you want. That will change eventually. It won't always be that way. For a good reason as well.

1) the site needs funding. And unfortunately if we sold one item with the ability to wear all poses there would be no reason to donate for more than one of each item. That might seem like money grubbing in some ways. But quite honestly I can't keep paying the for the site without some help from donations at least. I could care less if I made money I just want the site to be able to support itself. And right now we are a small community. We have maybe 230 or so users after you minus mules and what not and yeah if i times that by two that $460 for each of those accounts to own one of each monthly item. In terms of one month that may be ok. But think about us having to save for server costs, art, coding. None of which have been cheap. We have a lot of improvements to make and unfortunately we can't do it without money from donations.

2) Economy. If you only had one item no reason to really buy more. So later when there were less and less of an item our economy would be very unstable and more like Gaia's because there are less items. Things will inflate but the more there are in the system the less they will inflate. You could try and make the point that surely people will stock up on these anyway. But to be honest I know exchangers and a lot of them aren't patient enough to wait for more members, either that or they are too patient making prices unstable. Sure you have your hoarders on a site. You always do but they don't often sell, when they do they tend to inflate it fore there own benefits more so. I think it would be better to be safe and have more items in the system. To have less could kill the market.

I understand Fenris. It's good for the site to do so, some find it greedy but it's still necessary. And releasing Anka poses split up as individual items would probably be the best. :p

We'll see, its up for debate for the moment. We will come up with what we feel is best.

Item sets are like.. Gotta catch em all. It's what quests are made of =O

Either way you release it..people will have to buy multiples to get alllll the poses and allll the colours. At this point, it's really more about how the avatar creation process will be effected by it.

Because if someone wants to say have a red Anka head piece and bird flying in the back ground on one avi...They would still have to buy 2 items to get it with both methods...

However if that person decides they want to change it to the green version instead of the red, with one method they'll have to buy the 2 extra ones again, but in the different colour (to get both poses). And with they other method, they wouldn't have to buy anything, just use another pose from the items they already bought.

So if it's to inject more items into the system. Then I agree, the first method (the sorting by colour one) is definitely better because people will have to buy more to get more out of it.
But if it's to make it a bit easier to colour switch like with the Pandora starter items, then sorting by individual item is better.

Just my little two cents. Anything you choose would be fine... I just prefer it like Pandora because I'm a poor cheapskate XDDDDD lol

Either way all closed beta members will get one of each color item free how ever we do it.

I hope we get all the beta and promo soon. They all looked so cool.

I agree with this for Anka, especially since it's a special item. I mean if they're going to be hoarded now, just imagine how they'll be if you can't do this. Even closed-beta-ers will need more than one, so how can anyone hope to pry enough Ankas out of people's hands to be able to wear one of each pose.

We have thought of a way to help fix this but I am not certain beta testers will like it.
