Sleeping patterns..

So recently I've come to discover I have a method to falling asleep.

1. Lay on left side. (Recently it's spent playing my games on my phone till I am tired enough to just sleep since my man works nights now and I can't talk to him.)

2. I turn to my right side. I do this till I'm in that state of almost sleep.

3. I turn to my back, waking myself up again, but not enough to keep me up. Then fall asleep.

If I can't fall asleep with that, I repeat. lol I did this for I don't eve know how long. Pointing out my new discovery I told my man and he informed me that I apparently always did that. lol

So what about you? Do you have a method to your sleep? Even if it's falling asleep.

Asami 04-08-2012 10:32 AM

I always have to think about something. Just one thinh amd focus whether its a story or a fantasy i just need to think of it and i can fall asleep

Muff Muff 04-08-2012 10:34 AM

I think too much. lol So it makes it hard to sleep.

Red Calypso 04-08-2012 11:28 AM

I pretty much just have to crawl into bed and I'm gone in minutes. Of course I only sleep two to three hours at a time these days. More like a series of naps than anything else.

Muff Muff 04-08-2012 11:30 AM

That sucks. :( It feels like I only nap. I am a restless sleeper in the sense I don't sleep good, not so much the move a lot cause I can sleep in the same position all night. XD

Red Calypso 04-08-2012 12:01 PM

Muff Muff, actually it works out pretty good, since there are shows I like to watch late at night. Plus it lets me put my feet up several times a day.

Muff Muff 04-08-2012 12:03 PM

Ah. Yeah I guess in that case. lol

Red Calypso 04-08-2012 12:11 PM

Heheh. It would be different if I were still working.

Muff Muff 04-08-2012 05:21 PM

I have to go to bed at like 10 cause little miss wakes me up at 7AM. lol

Echo-chan713 04-08-2012 09:41 PM

I go to sleep at around 9-10 from playing on my iPad. In which I'm on my left side. Then I turn over to the right.

I sleep in a fetal position. I toss and turn a few times. Then I stretch in my sleep which triggers a calf cramp which the sleep gets disturbed. Then I sleep in an splayed out position. Then on my tummy my head to the right until the alarm clock rings off the radio.

When I'm sleeping with somebody I mostly sleep on the side in a fetal position and then I would cuddle with him until he would get out of bed to spend the rest of the night playing computer games while I sleep until I wake up. He think how I wake up naturally is so cute X3

RedWineDrinker 04-08-2012 10:51 PM

sleeping pattern, settle on my left side, roll right, back left, face down then usually back onto my left side again before i settle. In truth i think that's about right but as i work nights during the week my pattern is kind of all over the place

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 07:02 AM

lol Echo. I know all about those damn charlie horses!! Guh..I got them all through my pregnancy, every damn night!

Red: If I move in my sleep I'm all over the place. Those are the worse nights. @~@

Zerook 04-09-2012 07:31 AM

I snuggle my bear and cuddle into my cocoon. I sleep in a sleeping bag (on a normal bed). Oh man, it's so cozy especially since it's autumn and only getting colder.

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 09:17 AM

o.o Where are you at? It's spring here!

Rinni 04-09-2012 09:36 AM

I usually curl up on my left side in a little ball, usually in a nest of pillows and blankets. But, if not in a bed / no blankets, I'll usually either still curl up on my site or sleep on my tummy.

I usually come up with story ideas until my brain drifts off to sleep.

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 09:50 AM

If I can't fall asleep I do multiplication. lol Something I learned in elementary. haha

Hex 04-09-2012 12:57 PM

my sleep pattern involves EV training pokemon until my gameboy falls on my face then whining about it until I pass out....it happens every night

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 01:28 PM

lol I used to do that.

Hex 04-09-2012 01:39 PM

It's crazy because if I don't do it I won't fall asleep until 4 or 5 in the morning!

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 01:51 PM

o.o Oh wow. But as long as you have that so you can get to sleep Though.

Hex 04-09-2012 02:28 PM

yeah, I am a restless kind of person so I just can't manage to stay still long enough to fall asleep, it drives my boyfriend insane XD

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 02:43 PM

lol He'll live! hehe But I can see on his side how it feels. My man is a damn blanket hog! lol But we don't really sleep together anymore since he now works nights. :(

Hex 04-09-2012 03:11 PM

aaawe, yeah Adam works from 3am-2pm ish so by the time I am falling asleep he is waking up anyways, so I know how you feel :<

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 03:13 PM

:( Awss Yeah it does suck.

Hex 04-09-2012 03:26 PM

I love the weekends though, he doesn't work so I make him breakfast :3 he loves breakfast foods XD

Muff Muff 04-09-2012 03:48 PM

lol He takes Sun and Mon off so we get to sleep together Sun night. x3 And breakfast food is the shizzz!!

SaekoNova 04-09-2012 05:11 PM

My Sleeping Pattern is not normal i sleep when i wanna and game too much that explains my sleeping patterns

Hex 04-09-2012 05:53 PM

o3o Nova! and yeah breakfast food so good....hocolate chip waffles and EGGIES!

Syari 04-09-2012 08:23 PM

My sleeping pattern is completely messed up for my time-zone. I end up waking up with most of the daylight gone, and go to sleep when the sun is rising. > ___ >;

I used to find it really easy to fall asleep, now I find it extremely hard. ;[
I tend to fall asleep better on my right side, but I got the scaffolding done in my ear on that side a couple months ago, and it's still kinda tender ;<

MayChan 04-09-2012 09:36 PM

Considering I have school, it's kinda normal? Other than I miss my first period class and don't bother to go to math cause I have an A even though I am gone for a month. Weekends I fuck with it though xD

Muff Muff 04-10-2012 07:04 AM

Yeah I have a 4 month old and watch a 3 month old from 7-5. lol So I sleep as much as I can. lol

Syari 04-10-2012 05:18 PM

I bet. My friend is constantly up at all hours looking after her kids.

Muff Muff 04-10-2012 07:53 PM

My baby girl sleeps through the night for the most part. Occasionally she'll wake up at like 4AM to eat but that isn't too often.

Syari 04-11-2012 11:12 AM

O wow that's pretty good/lucky then o: haha

Alyssia 04-12-2012 03:28 PM

Well normally if I'm ready for bed(sleep wise) I'll get in and pile all my decorative pillows to one side, get two pillows with normal cases to sleep on. I'll have my cush pillow to my back. I'll sleep on my right side facing the window. I always have to have my back to the door. It just doesn't feel right otherwise.

If I'm not sleepy, but I know I need to be in bed, I'll hunker down in the same way, but on my back leaning towards the window. I'll play Harvest Moon on my DS till I start to nod off.

Muff Muff 04-12-2012 03:32 PM

My fiance would love to sleep with a crap ton of pillows. lol I'd suffocate. owo * claustrophobic*

LMAO! I just got that.

Dorian Pavus 04-18-2012 11:50 PM

I have to get to the point of collapsing before I can sleep, though I always end up on my left side. ; p

Also, if I'm sleeping with someone next to me, on my left my right leg sticks out over them...its weird what my body does.

Muff Muff 04-19-2012 07:54 AM

lol I think so too.
