user run event? (please post)
 

so we have been lagging on the posting and a user-run event seems like a good idea, of course there is the issue of what would our users like to see as far as prizes games and of course events


what would you guys be interested in seeing in an event?

what would make you want to play?

if prizes were to be given how would you like to earn them and what would you like them to be?

would you be willing to help with the event be it planning, hosting, providing prizes, loaning advertising space in threads sigs and such, recruiting others to help(within tos of course)?

I would support this, and help in any way that I could, including offering items as prizes. I have event sets from the rebellion thingie, tons of them, and a couple of older items I no longer use.

I will advertise in my sig, and co-host things.

I would really love to see some pretty arts. Doesn't matter what it is. I just like seeing all the different and pretty styles here. ^ w^ Oh, and maybe some sort of commemorative item for the event. Just one would be fine with me. Would this be the first user run event?

Posting event? My brain's derping. What do you mean by that? o wo; Contests would be a good idea. I just wouldn't partake in any. Being a super pessimist and all. > w>

I am willing to advertise and once Alpha gets back he will probably offer Ad space in our threads. Depending on when you want to hold it I can offer some runes for prizes and help host some if you need or want the help.
Do a few different level ACC and maybe a picture contest?

Free art would be awesome, but I can't draw maybe we can find artists to offer that?

But ive seen ideas like these turn bad on another site...

i have a place to live until the tenth so i can be online until the 5th before i have to start packing clothes and throwing my stuff away, i can be here until then at least and would be willing to try and get what i could together and who knows, if i can get this job i am trying for i will have a place to live by the end of next month so i could still offer art (mostly i have stuff like bakeneko and some old monthlies and stuff to offer)

do you think a week is long enough to get people excited and the event together? and 14 days seems a little long, 7-10 maybe? though longer events mean more people can play


there will always be risk asami dear, but if people are eager then why not try anyway? i have seen it work well on gaia and bomb on crysandrea but those are not tris are they? ^^

true but as is the case with nearly every event tris runs it goes on too long and people get bored with it, this needs to be short enough to keep people excited too

i have the public library, i just won't have a tower and tablet, i would get on at least once a day most days my library is open until 9 on weekdays and 6 on weekends
