Help me make a list of Vampire movies. I love Vampire movies and want to see as many as possible but am having trouble finding any I haven't seen.

The ones I really liked were the ones that were made from Anne Rices books.

Where the transition from Book to Moive, really butchered the story and characters, the movies were still good in their own right.

Queen of the Damned

and then there is
Cirque Du Freak Vampire's Assistant (the books were better as well xD)

it will take me a while to think up of other's that I have seen and liked... cause these ones are probably some you already saw. xp

Here's a list of vampire movie I can remember on top of my head :
The Lost Boys trilogy (I have them and still haven't watched them ._.)
Dracula
Nosferatu
Let the right one in (very good :D)
From Dawn till dusk (or something like that)
Blade trilogy
the afromentionned Anne Rice movies.
Dracula dead and loving it (it's a comedy but it's still about vampires xD)

I actualy forgot the rest. I was just saying the other day how every movie is about vampire these day too xD You probably saw most (if not all) of them, but I'm still listing them to be sure and maybee someone'll see something they didn't know.

Salem's Lot is the only one I can think of that I would recommend. And that's mostly because it's based on a novel by my favorite author.

Well the only vampire movies i enjoyed were the Underworld Series if you have not watched them yet i suggest watching. :3

I have seen the underworld series but not salem's lot so I'll have to try it.

No one said they had to be scary. :P. Watched it on TV and I didn't think much of the premise but it was pretty cute by the end. I'd watch it again.

If you're into slasher movie stuff, there's also John Carpenter's Vampires. Basic vampires hunter goes to hunt vampires movie. From Dusk till Dawn also has a sequel. Robbery in Mexico with vampires.

you seem to know alot of vampire movies. are you into the blood sucking cursed night people or do you just watch alot of movies?

I watch a lot of b-grade horror movies, and horror in general. I've seen several of the ones mentioned here, but it's a horror in general thing rather than vampires specifically. From Dusk till Dawn definately falls into B-grade if I'm thinking of the right movies. It's pretty over the top at times. Well, the first one is.

My favourite vampire movies would be Interview with the Vampire when I feel like the drama, and Bram Stoker's Dracula. I like Gary Oldman in it.

I think there is also a Dracula 2000 to go with 3000 but not positive.

wow. i watch alot of horror movies. i'll watch anything but freddy. i grew up on horror movies. watched them with my dad when i was like 5 and up. i think they're my favorite type of movie. i think i've seen all the movies listed above except for a few.

I was a total wuss as a kid but later decided they were fun. :). I'm more of a werewolf person than a vampire person.

i love werewolves, witches, vampires, incubuses (unsure of correct term here), sucubuses (or here), fairies, angels, demons, zombies, and pretty much anything that fits into the horror catagory. its why my friends and family consider me creepy and a bit of a freak. oh well. to each their own. :)

Heh. I like savage animal shows mostly. Sharks in particular. ;). I'm after shark movies instead of vampire movies, one could say.

And I'm pretty sure it's incubi/succubi.

thanks for the help on those terms. i think your right. and im sorry to saw the only shark movie ive seen is jaws and that was a long time ago. :/

I love that movie. I watch it whenever it's on. TV, no that I don't alredy own it, and two of its sequels. Not the second one though. That one was just crummy.

I'm curious about seeing how many ways a director can find to blow up a shark.

Lol well I'm sure there's plenty of random creative ways to do it. Personally I can think of atleast three to five. But I'm weird. So they're kinda strange and disturbing. :P

The Jaws method will always be the classic. ;)

I tend to love sci fi/horror movies because that's what i grew up watching so feel free to ask if you need anymore help with suggestions

Ahh why don't you like freddy? Some of his movies are actually interesting story wise.

Dad thought it'd be wise to show me Freddy when I was somewhere around 7 or 9 at night before I went to bed.

Oh, See when I was a little child I was only afraid of once show character other than that I laughed at the horror movies and sci fi movies that i watched often with my father.

My dad terrorized me with a character from a horror movie that killed you in your sleep. I wonder if that's why I developed some strange version of insomnia... :/

That could be, I on occasion's seeing my child hood terror will still get chills have you ever heard of the crypt keeper from tales of the crypt?

Well, He was my Child hood terror I had constant Nightmares of him and my father used to torture me (My father was an abusive man physically and emotionally though i still love him may he rest in peace) By forcing me to watch the show.

True but I don't hold it against him. I mean I did think the leprechaun was cute and wanted a toy of him chucky and jason. I did lead him to believe I'd be fine.

Trust me he didn't but ik sooner or later I'm gonna have to face Freddy I just want it to be later.

Well, facing your fears can be hard but it tends to be more prosperous if you face it sooner than later so that its not on your conscious as long.
