Hey guys,

You know what time it is? Of course you do! For those that pre-purchased GW2, the countdown to the early access is almost here! I'm updating my client as we speak so that I'm ready to go for launch.

Is anyone else a fan of Guild Wars / Guild Wars 2? Anyone else have early access? Anyone else gonna play with Sei's characters? xD

I think I'm going to make:

Human / Elementalist
Human / Theif
Sylvari / Ranger
Sylvari / Mesmer
Char / Warrior
Asura / Engineer
Asura/Human / Guardian

I'll be playing on an EU server. just got to wait and see where my friends are at.

I'd love to play, but my laptop can't take it and I'm pretty sure my dad's comp can't either. I've seen and heard a good bunch of nice on it, from my friend who plays the beta. Like when you enter the world VS world they adjust you to an higher level to not be insta destroy and the same thing for big random instance, that's actualy pretty nice. Or something like that anyway.

I do hope they kept the drunk effect after too much alcohol, I loved that in the first one xD (didn't play it either, but aformentionned friend did and he showed me that, I literaly fell on my buttox laughing.)

i know there's some sort of drinking thing added. like a counter of how many shots you've had, and an achievement for having a bunch.

me and my fiance have the game :3 haven't really played yet .. </3 baby keeps me busy and the past few days i was fixing Kano's pc D; but its fixed nows ^^.. but i have to deal with support today seeing as its telling me my code is already registered but i cant play... -3-;

as far as characters.. i know with Kano i'll probably have a little er. um.. what are they called.. my brain isn't working atm but whatever probably gonna be a ranger.. always was a ranger fan in Gw so ... and if i ever get eye of the north then I will probably work on getting a black moa >w>

I already have my Human Ele at level 15 on the Crystal Desert server (American). Having fun so far. *nodsnods*

My guy is level 3 ._. I've had no time to play yet. got up too 27 in the Beta though, so I've played quite a bit before release xD

i only got to like 15 in the beta >w<; though i do hate that your limited to one server.. and we've already picked a server so itll suck if any friends like start playing Dx

you can guest into other servers for certain things can't you?

i dunno someone was saying that you have to pay to go to a new server or something?

okay, it looks like guesting is not around yet. it's a feature they're working on, you can pop into servers in which you have friends to play with. but you have to pay to fully swap server.

oh well thats cool :) i dont really know too many who are gonna play it.. so we're on whatever server our one friend is on XD

I'm stuck without internet on my desktop till Wednesday. I'll have to get it then.

aw D: thats no good </3 i know how that is .. it sucks D< though i threatened comcast when we moved.. i was like hey i have school work i need to do .. i cant be a few weeks without it when we just moved down the street D<

I'm still enjoying my playtime, but my leveling has slowed. I must continue leveling! xD

i'm getting some weird issues. I was playing on max graphics setting and getting a solid 50fps in the beta, and right now i'm getting only 9 D: I don't know if that's because the server is maxed out or something.

i still cant play xD it says my account isnt active for any events.. lol even though it should at least have a working pre order code.. seeing as i used it to get into the betas.. and now i wait AGAIN on the email back -3- first one made me question if they can read english

they've been having all kinds of issues since the official launch. it kind of sucks. I don't feel like playing because my fps is so stuttery and horrid ):

i'm having to redownload the client and see if that fixes my issues -_-

I don't have a good enough internet connection to play GW2 at the moment sadly

my internet is fine, and my Pc is pretty easily good enough to run it on max setting fine yet i'm only getting about 12 fps and major stuttering ):

That could be several things.

1. Bad connection
2. Graphics are out of date
3. Computer can't handle it on max
4. Game is over populated aka server congested

My computer can run a lot of games on max smoothly and some times it can't. Depends on the game sometimes and not your computer.

Like I can play skyrim on max HD settings perfectly but it stutters on just normal max settings

i've played in all the beta tests and was getting a smooth 50 fps with the graphics maxed out. now that it is launched it's averaging out at 12.. so i know for sure my Pc can handle it. also switched to a low population server and the issue is the same, and my internet connection is just fine from what i can tell.

It could still be a server issue. They can have multiple servers but only a few physical ones you know.

yeah, i know that. it does appear to be a common issue from the googling i've done. people getting about a 30 fps drop since release. hopefully it's something they can fix.

yeah ive noticed they've had a ton of issues.. ~sighs~ i missed all three head start days though it seems like ill miss the 4th as well =/ not like ill get to play much anyway but still!

they're pushing out a new version of the client in about an hour, to fix a lot of the bugs. hopefully things will be better then.

not sure if that'll fix my account saying i have no code that makes it able to go into head starts lol .. seeing as i was in the beta.. youd think itd work

were you in the beta from pre-order? if not i don't think you get the early access, even if you had a beta key.

yeah i was in the beta, the team i was on won the hunger game thing x'D

but it says the account dosent have access thats why im confused cause i got a preorder code just to get into the beta >.<

the patch seems to be late.. so i have no idea what's going on. my game is running a little better now, after re-downloading. getting about 30 fps :D

well thats good at the least ^^ maybe ill get to play someday lawl

I have a day off work tomorrow to get stuck in, finally. Though ive been sucked back into minecraft again >_>
