Hot damn, this is one smart cookie! :o

Take a look at me. :o

So I was kind of just perusing the internet and I kind of found this. This girl is seriously smart. Seriously. She's got an IQ of a hundred and sixty-two!! Heck, she's even smarter than the likes of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking! o3o

I wish I was that smart. >.>

So what do you think? Do you think it's a good idea to have thrust her out into the open? Or do you think she should've been kept in the closet?

I'm on mixed grounds. On one hand, I think it's great to give her the attention, but if it gets to far, then she could easily lose focus in the media of it all and fail to live up to expectations.

Hm... Thoughts, anyone? :o

Oh wow....I wish I was that smart....that young and into Mensa wow is her life set for her.

Espy 12-19-2012 03:26 PM

....-groans- I saw the math on the news article and kind of flipped x___X;

Hm...Mensa's good. Media's not, as much.

Hopefully the good of Mensa can outweigh the bad of the media. :3

But it also depends on how she's raised by her parents and the environment of her home. Nurturing environments everywhere make all the difference. :3

Thats insane smarts right there o.0

Lauv Keiko 12-20-2012 09:21 PM

It is insane smarts. I do think she might fall from expectations once she gets too hooked up in media than in books and theories and stuff. I hope she doesn't, this world needs the smarties. xD

Although, for me...I'd much rather have wise people around than intelligent ones. There's a difference, btw. Huge difference.

She's talented, but IQ isn't a predictor of success.
Heck, I have an IQ over 130 (my school wasn't allowed to give out the specific number, spoil sports) and some of my 'gifted' class mates were dull as dirt.

Arikana 12-25-2012 11:32 AM

Mm, it's all about the way your mind thinks. That affects everything. :3

Hopefully her joining Mensa will help her mind grow and think in new ways. >w<

I find this fascinating and yet frightening. In a sense, I am envious, mainly because I seek to help others and yet my brain is probably half of hers. But really, what qualifies intelligence, is is just a test of wits or is it a mix of everything. The greatest manipulators in the world are intelligent and so are sociopaths: they know what to do and how.

I just hope no one uses her to their means and I hope she lives her life fully without having to find solutions to everyone's problems. c.c

I am mostly impressed.

IQ just predicts how well someone can learn, doesn't it? Not necessarily how smart they are exactly if I remember correctly. Or something along those lines. It wasn't a number of how smart someone was, just something to do with how well they will probably learn or do in school or something. >_<

Nonetheless, quite impressive. >3< I don't want to be /that/ smart, but I do wish I was at least particularly talented in one area, instead of above average but not great in many. XD (Like I'm "good" at math and languages and such, but I am /far/ from amazing or great.)
