Hello...?

Hello, I've had this account for a while (apparently) but despite this I'v never really logged on to it, until today that is.

So, I guess I'm new but at the same time not really, if that makes sense.

In any case I don't really know much about the site and how to earn the site/in-game currency (what is the currency here called...?) and this is the first avatar I've ever made here as well, I put it together using items that I found in it's inventory as well as some that I bought from the shops today. It seems there were quite a few events since 2010-2011 (I think that's when I made, and forgot, about this account... and to be honest about the site as well).

So... Hello everyone :), I hope we'll be able to get along fine and for someone to please explain what methods there are for earning the in-game currency.

Hey, welcome to Tris.

The common site currency that you get from posting is called Aurum; besides posting, you can also get it from selling stuff to other people and trading, as well as from the Crane Game. ...I might be missing something; I'm tired, sorry.

The donation currency is Runes; these can be spent on the Monthly DIs (although there IS a monthly AURUM DI), yearlies, and the occasional event item. The last one doesn't happen much, though.

Anka Tokens are a special currency that comes from earning achievements -- the achievement tab should be pretty self-explanatory. Tokens can be spent in the Token shop, whose contents get swapped out after...a while.

If you've any other questions, feel free to ask me.

Thank you for the explanation :), and sorry if my reply came rather late ^^;.

The tokens are pretty direct and easy to understand, not to mention that the idea itself is rather good (and the items in the token shop as well).

I'd like to know if we get notified if we're quoted in the forums or other-wise.

Aside from that I'd also like to ask you if there is by any chance a dream avatar creator for Tris.

That would be it with my question, thank you for posting as well as greeting me :).

Unfortunately we do not have a dream avatar creator as of this moment. u.u But there are many item threads that explain the past items and their poses so that if there is one you want, you will be able to see it.

Thank you for the information :), I'll be sure to check-out that thread soon enough, for the time being I'll just bookmark it for later consulting :3.

Would you perhaps, please, tell me if we receive notifications in the forums, and if yes, where? ^^;

Espy 03-01-2013 11:02 AM

Oops, sorry. I've been working on homework. Notifications in the forums? I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but you can always subscribe to a thread via the option at the bottom. If you do, the thread will appear in your Settings tab whenever there are new posts.

Areishia 03-01-2013 11:14 AM

It's fine, I wish you luck with your homework :3.

I mean receiving notification if someone posts in a thread you've made or if someone quotes you in the forums. (or better said myself)

From what you've said though I'm guessing I'll be using the subscribe option quite often when it come to my own threads.

Espy 03-01-2013 11:27 AM

I think the subscription thing is the best way to go around that. It won't check that you've been quoted, though. I just manually do that by finding my latest post in that thread.

Hey there, welcome back to Tris. ;)
I hope you enjoy your time here and choose to stay with us now.

littl3chocobo 03-01-2013 02:40 PM

yeah, there is no notification for forum based responses outside of checking your subscribed threads though if those have not gotten a post since your last visit they will not show up so dont be surprised if a thread has 'disappeared' just hit the 'view-all-threads' option under the subscribed threads
