Funniest thing you've heard a teacher say.

So I'm taking online courses this semester and I recently got an email that started out with this paragraph:

This weeks work will help you learn some specific vocabulary to more specifically describe and define the visual and emotional impact of artwork. The correct words will help you explain your thoughts and feelings about what you see and feel about art. As an example, think of the words "happy", "thrilling", "exciting" and "orgasmic". They all express a good feeling right? But they express different levels and types of excitement. If you heard someone say "Your mom's "hello hug" when I arrived was orgasmic." You'd want to punch that person in the nose and then send them in for some serious psychological assistance. But if someone said "Your mom's hugging me hello made me very happy." That would be acceptable.

And I died. It took me a full 5 minutes to remember what I was supposed to be doing.

Anybody have any funny stories about their teachers or professors? C:

At one point, my history teacher didn't know what someone who plays a trombone is called. So she called a student a "tromboner." Less than a second later, she yelled "TROMBONER!" and laughed ridiculously loud, repeating the word over and over.

It was quite embarrassing.

It's not actualy something he said, but once we went to that science museum (?) thing and there we're these giant parabola things on each side of the room, with a sign that said that whatever sound made in them would travel and be heard all across the place. So me and some friends we're looking at those, trying to not do something stupid and the teacher just goes over there and do the loudest burp ever in it. And yeah, the signs weren't lying, EVERYONE heard it. The teacher looks at us and we just go O.O WHUT?!? and start laughing like hell.

Yupe.

I'm going to staple your lips to the chalkboard!

It's because she was not talking to me.
