Activation Email
 

So, a good friend of mine just joined the site and he was waiting for the activation email, and it has not arrived yet.
I had asked him to refresh his email, but it didn't work.
Is there a link somewhere for new users to click in order for the activation email to be re-sent to them?
or would signing out and signing back in work?

He signed out, signed in. Not there. Checked all the folders, not there.

then we have to wait for one of the coders or admins

If the spambox didn't work try the resend link

In the future, note that accounts that haven't verified their e-mail addresses can still post in Helping Hand. This makes it a lot faster to handle account activation, because we know who the user is right away and can just click from right here in the thread. (It also provides the necessary human validation that an e-mail check would also handle.)

We should probably make that fact more visible. :P

Also, we don't close threads in Helping Hand or Error Report unless they break the rules.
