The Exchange is unleashed!
 

The exchange has been around for a while, and amassed a fair few items!

Therefore, its logic has been adjusted today, and it'll now exchange any item other than items that cost Runes.

It is not entirely random:

Items that cost aurum will give other items that cost aurum.

Items from Food Fight (the current RIG) will give other items from Food Fight.

All others exchange among each other.


If you have any results that seem to be in error, please let me know. Logs are kept of exchanges, so I can fix problems.

I haven't tested it yet, but do the unopened RIG items themselves count as Food Fight items?

Okay, yes, you can now exchange a Food Fight for one of the items in it (or possibly someone else's Food Fight), if you so choose.

That also means you might GET the rig for putting in one of its items.

beepboop, only stopping by for a second here but does this mean that chucking in taskel war stuff means only people putting in other taskel war stuff will get it back out? i have thrown quite a few things from different events and special occasions and it would be pointless if only people who were trying to get rid of these items would get them back

So I exchanged a coffee time item from the anka egg and got a peacock feather belt.

So anka eggs don't equal to another anka egg item then?

No. Only current event RIG items swap with like things. Everything else (including Spoopy stuff from Halloween) exchanges freely with all other non-aurum items.

Basic theory is that we want broader circulation of older stuff rather than only opening it up to people who were there for it the first time.

Indeed. And that getting specific items from RIGs can be rough at times, so letting them be switched out some makes it easier.

I tried it -- it would not let me swap my anka egg item for anything >3> it was like shame on youuuu
