Happy Valentines Day

To all the lovely single ladies and gentleman out there without a date you don't need a significant other to be happy.
You need money, which is something everyone else isn't going to have on Monday.

You are so right. My boss stopped by today to say hello and ended up giving brady an advance on his paycheck for us to go do something y.y Brady doesn't seem to realize his paycheck will be smaller D:

Hurry plan a day for yourself doing stuff alone and record it all. Put it on Facebook into a album and share it with everyone.

I once did that but i went on a date with a poptart.

Sounds romantic. Was it cherry or chocolate filling?

Glitch 02-14-2016 01:46 AM

cherry! I photographed the whole thing, it was lovely.

I have a folder full of cheesy valentine day cards that I am messaging out to friends on Facebook. I ended up in a war with a few of them.

Ah that sounds like a lot of fun! I keep seeing my friends posting some

Roses are gray, violets are gray.
Everything's gray.
I'm a dog.

I'm spending Valentine's Day itself alone, because my wife's out of town. Honestly, we're both okay with this -- I'd much rather go on a nice date on some OTHER day. Why is it romantic to do something special when you HAVE to do it? Doesn't it mean more for it to be personal and special instead of doing it at the same time as everyone else? (And on that note, having the date on another day means there's less traffic, shorter wait times, and better service.)

How solipsistic of you.

Wait a sec, isn't "Dogs only see Black and White" a myth?

I am sick this Valentines day, and not the love kind of sick.

"We saw a lonely person ordering food,
Lo and behold we followed them home,
We improved their dear mood,
With vomit and then some,
We don't understand why they drive us away,
Did we do something not welcomed,
All we know is we're trying to stay,
In the homely intestines - so seldom,
Please let us stay - we wish to be friends,
With your stomah and throat so soft,
We promise you gifts from out the ends,
And to make your mind like moss."

My partner and I aren't really doing the whole Valentines thing today... I have work to do and he's gone out to post some things for me.

Last year we went to RHS Wisley (a royal garden not far from us) and went to see butterflies in a hothouse <3 It was quite nice getting to see all the butterflies flying around us, one even landed on my partner ^_^

We are quite limited with what we can do at any time though as we have the little one and our families live quite a distance away (so don't really get any babysitters) and I don't trust people enough to let anyone other than family look after her... ^_^;;

Yes, dogs are dichromats; they see in shades of yellow and blue most likely, with reds and greens being hard to tell apart.

Ahh Valentines day, the day people got massacred by Al Capone. Day of love? or is it a Day of Death.

Quote:

Oh my love, Please don't cry
I'll wash my bloody hands and we'll start a new life
Happy V-Day everyone, don't go killing your ex-lovers for leaving you alone on this murderous day.

Me? I'm gonna go watch Gotham.. >.> now that mom has relinquished the TV
