What do people have planned for the weekend? Anything fun?

Personally I have a Ren Faire admin meeting Saturday and Guild practice on Sunday.

No real rest for me this weekend - but you can sleep when you're dead, right? X3

Haha I remember when I used to be able to not sleep. I love sleep now <3

I normally have today off but this particular friday i have to do a lot of work D:

I'm always busy on weekends ....
Work for pizza delivery every saturday
and sunday my mom wants me to fix her computer and my bff's mom wants me to come cut her hair and that's my only day off T.T

Coda - Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire and Oregon Renaissance Faire. ORF is going to be opening in June for it's first year.

It's just starting up this year. The Washington Renaissance Arts and Education Society is starting it up, so a lot of us from WMRF are going to be performing at that Faire as well.

What is a "ren faire"?

lol, I felt the same way yesterday. I was looking forward to Friday when it was only a Wednesday afternoon. XD

A renaissance fair/faire (which overlaps with medieval fair) is essentially a fair where everything is themed around the renaissance (or medieval, which includes the early parts of the renaissance) period of history -- everyone's dressed up in costume, there's usually old-fashioned food and drink for sale, sometimes swordplay demonstrations, and so on, that kind of thing.

Oh, Ren faire is short for Renaissance Fair.

I know all about those, though I've never been to one. XD

Aaaauuuugh I really want to go to a Renfaire. I've never been able to. ...Actually, there was one a couple years back that a friend invited me to for her birthday party. I would've gone, but all the other people who were going with her weren't acquaintances of mine, and I tend to be rather....stranger-shy IRL.

I'd invite you to this one but transportation would be an issue.

*is literally still crying* It's my work friday today, and after 2 years of working I put in a 3 week till I quit thing and now I'm looking back on the good times even though it's been quite terrible lol
