Pokemon Global Link (PGL) dropping its XY-ORAS compatibility

So, I just saw their announcement that they'll be discontinuing the compatibility for the XY-ORAS games as they lean toward the new Sun-Moon games. Which means Game Sync will no longer works, official tournaments will no longer happen (since that requires Game Sync ID).

What is your thought on this?

Personally, I am pretty pissed. Since I got the game late around last Spring and didn't really started playing until Winter, I didn't get to enjoy the service long enough (I love the Poke miles-spending activities, by the way). Upon reading the announcement, the service apparently have only been 3 years old... Is it too soon for it to go away? I mean, I know you can still use Wonder Trade and GTS, but not being able to see records and enter tournaments kinda sucks. :s-cry:

Guess I better stock up Pokemiles to get those Max Revives and stuff quick. :s-kissface:

that sucks.. i been saving my pokemiles for something epic ._.

You're in luck. They brought back the item that allows you to change a Pokemon's ability in shop and it's discounted.
