Favorite Guilty Pleasure

What's your favorite guilty pleasure? Is it magnifying glass blasting ants? Dressing up your animals in costumes? Or maybe you enjoy, like me, mixing multiple sodas in one cup at fast food places? Let those burning secrets out into the world!

I for example get enjoyment out of pulling out my own nose hairs. So painful, but so satisfying for some reason.

i like when i can get a good bit of gunk out of my tonsils. i'm not very guilty about it, though.

Gunk? Like one of those tonsil stones? Those suck!

yeah, but i've never had them like super big or hard, just irritating ones. i'm super practiced at getting them out without looking, lmao.

That is definitely a talent! It's the worst feeling to feel them creeping up the back of my throat sometimes. :f-ack:

It sort of gross, but it's really satisfying when I get like a kind of big bit of dried earwax in my ear and can dig it out.

I also, not sure if it really counts as a guilty pleasure, but I really love hoarding various lip balms. I have probably close to 50 or 60 and none are the same flavor. I have one main brand/online shop that is my fave, but I will go for pretty much any of the ones on Etsy that are all natural and don't have lanolin in them.

I like decorating journals..then never writing in them again. I also like spending hours upon hours decorating with launchers on my phone, then completely abandoning the launcher to do the same thing again with another launcher.

CactuarJoe 07-28-2017 12:41 PM

It does seem that a lot of guilty pleasures are bodily in nature, aside from Potironette's of course. Whether that's boogers, ear wax, pimples, or scabs; removing body junk is always so satisfying!

Friggin' Honey Buns. I know they're absolutely trash for nutritional value, but holy fuck, they are seriously my weakness. The original kind, not the white-frosted kind, though those are alright.

Drawing on my arms while, you know, trying not to give myself lead poisoning. Or get Sharpie into an open cut.

Kaderin Triste 07-29-2017 09:34 AM

Tbh, the lead poisoning thing these days is just something people tell you so you don't draw on your arm. Pencils (unless they're SUPER old are all graphite and ink in pens, while definitely not recommended to get in an open wound, is non-toxic. So avoid open wounds and you'll be just fine.
Happy drawing!
XD

Beautiful Kpop boys. Especially the fanservice: all the leather pants, low-neck shirts, collars, homoerotic shit, sexy choroes with body rolls and hip thrusts galore...
Also cheesecake and panna cotta.
Also yaoi.

Coda 07-30-2017 12:06 PM

Actually, pencils have ALWAYS used graphite. Ancient chemists THOUGHT it was a form of lead because they didn't know any better, primarily based on the color. The fears of lead poisoning are a modern thing from people who jump to conclusions.

Oh my gosh Den I feel you, though I lean more on the frosted ones. So good.

Gallagher 07-31-2017 09:56 AM

related to honey buns, i thought of this one literally yesterday

there are these awful, awful, for no good reason greasy as heck freaking TUBS of blueberry scones that we used to get around here. haven't had any in ages. but oh my lord, they were amazing in the worst way.

CactuarJoe 07-31-2017 10:24 AM

I know what you're talking about Gallagher, we've got these Mrs. Freshley's cakes/desserts that leave the roof of your mouth super grimy but guh they're like cheap crack.
