Bio:
Zen was four when she was traveling from one area to another. Details were fuzzy but she knew that her birth parents needed to cross the forest to complete some trade deal or other with a human settlement on the other side. Relative peace made the forest safe to travel through, or, at least as safe as any thieves and murderers would allow it to be. The troupe made camp and all seemed well.

Zen, however, was always a curious little girl. She wandered from the camp in the night having woken up after sleeping wrong. None were awake to tend to her, and seeing that she could get away with anything simply...up and left. Her parents awoke hysterical in the morning, asking their travel mates where their little one had disappeared off to. When nothing, not even a foot print was found, they assumed her to be taken by the faeries, never to be seen again and when the parents wanted to organize a search party the troupe threatened to leave them believing it to be nothing but a time sink.

So, they left, and little Zen wandered the forest for all of about a day before she was discovered by the wood elves occupying the Grikkan Forest. They took her in and finding no parents, raised her as their own. But, Zen being Zen grew restless. She left at the age of seventeen to become an adventurer to no one's surprise, choosing for herself the path of a nomad.

Name: Xyni the Delightful
Race: Corrupted Human
Abilities: Mutable body, Aura of Presence. Due to gifts from his god, almost any sensation is pleasurable, and near orgasmic. Also rather adept with a sword and shield.

Bio:

Lo, how the might have fallen. Xyni, or whatever his name used to be, was once among the highest champions from the Order of the Virtuous Heart, a group of templars sworn to help defend the weak against anything and anyone; From the monsters that lurk the deepest corners of the dark, to standing between a nobleman and the peasantry he threatens with tyranny. A model of compassion and integrity, the fall would be swift and vicious. It would only take whispers from the daemons from the dark god Isilith, to lead the man astray from his path and into what he is now.

It started with a simple statement towards the gods themselves:

"All I ever wish for is the Truth."

From the silence, one messenger from the gods came. And gave the man what they believed to be the truth. Humanity? Rather, the entirety of mortal life? Was atrocious. Simple beings that wished only to ease the pains of everyday life with vice. Nowhere can one look without someone wishing for extravagance. The most regal and virtuous of nobles more often than not contained the most depraved thoughts. Peasantry looked towards the rich and envisioned themselves basked in those said riches. Those who had it all sought neverending ways to want more. And more. And fill their gluttony to the breaking point. Along with the answers, came a question from the messenger herself.

"Wouldn't you like to have more? Perfection? Flawlessness in your pursuits as an Order Knight?"

It was a question Xyni answered with craving, and soon the man began a spree of violence and brutality against the enemies of the order the likes which caught the eye of his dark patron. Soon the gifts from the god came. Xyni appeared to be more charismatic towards those who followed him. Trust and adoration became something more akin to worship and idolatry. Friends and even family turned their love from paternal and mature into debauched acts mocking the sanctity of romance and marriage. The desire of combat to solve problems turned into a lust for conquest. A lust for the chance to feel and taste the scent of battle. The flow emotions on the fields as soldiers died and ran victorious.

And thus the Flawless Host was born - A group of mercenaries with a rather heinous reputation. No offer of employment turned down. No chance to experience something new denied. However, the price for their near perfect drill orders and combat expertise remain sinister. One village saved from banditry found the Flawless ones being forced to host a banquet for their saviors; Their loved ones and children both courses in the meals, as well as playthings when the night grew cold. Xyni himself taking several women as wives from the village, before growing bored in instants, and sewing them together into the Host's banner.

As the saying goes

Perfection is a gift never worth obtaining.

Name: Laurel Quercus
Race: Dryad
Abilities: Can regenerate limbs and heal the wounded, highly empathic though quite apathetic outwardly
Bio: Laurel was grown into a happy family with three parents, as normal. He was raised on the outskirts of the elf city as a sapling. He watched the whole thing happen. The city grew and grew and grew. And so did he. Before long he was nine feet high, and the city had passed his seeding grounds. The elves were always sure to accumulate plenty of space for greenery. And they were gentle in the way they expanded. Perhaps that was why they hadn't had war in so long. In some ways, Laurel respected them. Though his face was scarred with the memories of dead religion.

When the fires began, he didn't think that the elves were capable of such brutal annihilation of his people. This began fueling a hatred of humans. They were wasteful, spiteful, destructive beings. While most treefolk were incapable of feeling deeply, Laurel was enraged. His seeding grounds were left sparse and scarred. His roots became hollow, his mind loose. So Laurel left his family, as they were pressed to the very edges of the map. He intended to speak to the council and make an important deal with them. However, he was instantly turned away. Treefolk apparently do not have much say within the inner city... Time for Laurel to take things into his own twigs.

Name: Askal Dakath
Race: Elf
Abilities: Political leverage, money out the wazoo, botanist/druglord, charisma
Bio: The first and only son of the head council member, Myantha Dakath. Askal always knew that he could run the city-state with both hands tied behind his back. And for some time, he was tied and bound. After all, he tried to kill his mother on several occasions and was suspected by many for the mysterious death of his father, Luvon. You see, Askal was born to raise Kath Iten from the degenerate state it was in. He had divine power in each of his fingers and he wasn't about to let his senile mother ruin it. She was a pushover, easy to persuade.

Askal knew the truth about orcs, dwarves and dryad, and he had no sympathy for any of them. Elves earned their place on earth, humans only scraped by as pets. It was up to him to put things back into their celestial order. With one drop of Roki Seed Oil, Myantha would be dead. And Askal, as the current army general, would take his seat in the council. And with enough Demon Ash, he could easily brainwash the rest of them. Making this entirely too easy for him and his personal garden.
