Are view counts correct?

I've noticed that stickies, such as "Welcome to Trisphee: Site Rules" have a view count of 1. There are also threads with replies of 0 and view counts of 1. I can believe there would be no responses, but that no one looks at them? Particularly stickies posted by admins?

Don't know if that is a previously reported bug or not.

It could be a bug, it could also be because it is a locked thread and the 1 view it registered before lock was the one view it gets from the original posting. I will look into it because I highly doubt no one looks at them as I know people give links to them when people join.

All right. It is not anything major, just really strange...

The view count 1 is due to the actual author viewing their own thread.

Ahh, I see. O: I had been wondering about that for some time, too.

The view count is completely broken. I haven't been able to figure out why and I'm probably just going to remove it because keeping the view count updated just slows things down anyway.

And I don't think it matters a lot anyways, too. o3o
