Floating Feathers and Broken Swords

While using Internet Explorer 8, I've found that after clicking the floating event currency around the forums, I do not get a confirmation message to pop up... at all

However, the currency I found still get credited to my account.

yeah, I never get the box when using my mule in IE. Stupid IE <.<

Panda 11-27-2010 01:53 AM

That's good, or else it will be so annoying for you. XD

Ultima 11-27-2010 04:51 AM

I have the same problem thing. I use IE8. Everyone has been mentioning annoying 'confirmation messages' ... but I have no idea what they're talking about. I've never seen one X.x;

Chi 11-27-2010 10:49 AM

I don't believe that's necessarily a problem, but yes that happens to me too.
When I use IE I don't get the confirmation when I click.
Unless you're not getting the currency when you click on it, don't worry about it? xD;
I can't really explain why that happens, Coda may know.

Duchess 11-27-2010 11:08 AM

Ah.. but it was a prob for me. Because the confirm message let me know for sure that I got the currency :S

Without it, i dont know how long it'll take for them to credit my account. I said in the first post that i got the currency, but i think thats only because i actually stayed on the page for some time waiting for a confirmation with none appearing.

A bit later (after i posted this) i got one that did not credit
:S

Coda 11-27-2010 11:16 AM

Hmm. That's potentially troublesome but I'm not going to have access to IE until Monday to do debugging. Thanks for the report, though.

Chi 11-27-2010 11:25 AM

It counts it regardless if you click on the confirmation box or not.
You don't need to wait on the page for it to catch up.
At least, I don't need to.
Most of the time I don't even click the confirmation box, I just scroll far enough to click on what I was getting to... xD;

Duchess 11-27-2010 11:46 AM

Ah.. but you still SEE the box :S

For me, if the box didn't show up, on any other browser, it means I have not gotten the item. And I HAVE tested that. I don't think matters whether you click it or not... it just matters if it shows up. Couple that with my "Server Transfer in Progress" page I get.. ALL THE TIME @.@

In fact.. I just got it again while trying to post this message.. =____=

Chi 11-27-2010 12:08 PM

Duch, I'm using IE right now, not getting the confirmation box.
And the currency is still counting.
I'm thinking now that it's an assurance thing for you?
But yeah, I can understand what you mean.
I also notice when using my IE the swords or feathers stick to the top.
They don't scroll, which is problematic for me.
Then again, I don't think I have the latest version of IE.

Oh and to avoid the "Server" notice thing.
You can try switching from being logged into www.trisphee.com to trisphee.com or vice versa.

It is a confirmation box.. for me.. it confirms that I have my currency? XDDDD Isnt that what they are supposed to do?

Chi 11-27-2010 01:49 PM

Yes. It's a type of assurance that confirms that you've received your currency.
All I was saying was that personally I don't need to see the box to be confirmed that I got my currency.
If the number goes up by one, you know you got it. o-o
That's all.

Either way, Coda said he'd look at it when he can it seems.

same here when i use internet explorer. I quite like it better, less annoying.
