Question: About Duplicate threads

Recently in the hangout section I've noticed (an a few other users) that there seem to be a new trend of duplicate hangouts.. like example theres at least 2-3 pokemon hangouts. I thought somewhere it was stated or said that there shouldn't be multiple hangouts if one was already created? All I see is "Nerco-ing" which is not the same. Checking for you though. No, it's not listed in the site rules either. Perhaps what you're thinking of is "Q&A" threads or "shop" threads, instead of posting another thread, just re-use an old one. I'll keep looking though if you'd like. |
when white and I made the brothel *a mature hangout* someone ten seconds later made another "mature" hangout and white locked it since it was a duplicate :x

It depends on the type of hangout. We encourage not having duplicates but because some users don't get along, having separate hangouts for the same thing can be necessary. That is why there are no rules against duplicate hangouts.

Chi we were much smaller when that happened so I would of seen it that way at the time but we have doubled in size since then.

The brothel thread that DK is talking about was made after we were open. We're small, but we weren't that small. I'm just making a point, not trying to argue. I hope you don't take it that way. |
I know, I was just saying, we have doubled in size since that time. Though I don't remember it because I wasn't on. But now there is no reason to eat duplicate hangouts and clubs.

Clarification- I locked the other mature hangout because... Well, it was the exact same thing as our thread. To the T... Only it was much more offensive and it wasn't clearly marked in the title. ^^;; It had the same rules and everything in it and it was the exact same thing. Having two mature hangouts was something that I didn't think would happen because I wanted to help make the mature hangout seeing as how I'm a mod and I could watch it to make sure things didn't get too out of hand in there. With TWO threads, then it would be even more of a bother and I didn't want to watch two threads. [/only had to post because her name was mentioned in the thread] |

No, it was exactly the same... xD And that really made me mad so I swallowed my pride and tried to not be too offensive in telling them it was a thread that had been made the night before. |
