I heard of aura...something....I think that is the currency...but what are runes?

Runes are the sites Donation Currency

Like if you donate to the site you get runes in exchange :3

I'm guessing you saw aurum
That's our regular currency.
You can get runes from donating to the site and buying them in the Merchant Square.
