Strange logout problem?

I clicked on a link in a sig, which took me to another genuine Trisphee page. However, it showed that my avatar was logged out.

How is that possible? Do older pages not understand when an avatar is logged in? Or is that page on a different server...?

It didnt log me out though.
Maybe your internet had hiccup. ^-^

Same here. Though I do admit that if I don't have my log in saved, it does log me out every now and then.

Probably something Coda needs to fix.

Hm. I'm not logged out - I can open another window to trisphee.com, and do not have to re-log in. It's just that page.

Before you were logged out, did your address bar show www.trisphee.com or http://trisphee.com?
That link goes to www., which is different from http://, for reasons that Coda understands.
If you were logged into http://, the switched to www., you would be on a new domain or something (please don't quote me on that, I know no technicalities) and you would be logged out.

Ah, that's it! A different server...thing.
Yes, this page is on http://trisphee.com and the link goes to a www.trisphee.com.

Yeah, cookies only bind to one of the two links. It's something I've been meaning to figure out a good way to fix (perhaps by making all trisphee.com links redirect to www.trisphee.com).
