Gay/Lesbian Idols?
Kay, so I don't know about you, but I've noticed something. In the old days, ALL GAY MEN LOVED CHER. She was like their queen man... But what I'm wondering is... Is Lady Gaga becoming the new gay idol? It just seems that a lot of gay men looove her music. In the exact way gay men from the past did Cher's... So is Lady Gaga the new Gay Icon? And who's the gay icon for lesbians? And is there an in between? O_o I know I'm bisexual, and I've noticed bi's tend to like Disturbed the most... I could be wrong. What's your opinion? ;o |
People has said Lady Gaga is like Madonna and Cher in her own right. Though I haven't listened to alot of Cher and Madonna so I can't really say I agree or disagree..
But I can see how Lady Gaga is a new idol. |

She is adorable and she is openly bi and she is fierce and I love everything about her. I can't stop listen to her music ever!! I don't have any for myself, and I can't really name any for a whole group, especially since I find the typical candidates pretty gross. XD The idea of idolizing an individual, a celebrity at that, is kind of a turn-off for me. O.x

Hmm, well... I am a gay man and I adore Lady Gaga, but I know plenty of people (gay, straight, male, and female) who dislike her... so I couldn't say for sure. o_O;
I think she is mostly an idol, gay, bi, pans, and straight alike. |
Didn't read all the replies but Ugh, I hope that Lady Gaga isn't anyone's role model. She's so overmanipulated it's not even funny. I used to like her until she wore that meat dress. That just crossed so many borders it's not even funny.
I dislike her, I think she's a hypocrite. She claims to be so gay-friendly. Do a little research, take a look at the companies who are paying her. Not so gay-friendly. She's just in it for the money, honey. |
