A simple question...

Why isn't the "Currently Active Users" in alphabetical order?

I swear I don't have OCD..just wondering.

I guess it just like that since day one? XD
But Coda can do something about it if he has ability to do so. <3

I was just wondering.. on other sites its usually in order.

Fenris 01-27-2011 03:06 AM

Actually Logan is wrong, it was in order with the exception that no matter what letter your name is you saw your name at the beginning of the list. It is one of the many 'lil' things the broke when we were having to clear our sessions table nightly because of a bug in the system. If we hadn't been doing it you all would of been barred from Trisphee. We have the bug fixed now and everything but we haven't been able to fix all the little things it broke. We will be getting to it.

Also this should be in a helping hand so i'm moving it. Community discussion should be reserved for discussions for the community but questions pertaining to things on the site or any info needed should go in a helping hand.

Fen~ Ah ok, like I said I was just wondering. When sites have updates its bond to have a small thing to happen.

Coda 01-27-2011 12:10 PM

Actually it's not sorted at all. Your own name is always first but the rest of the list is actually sorted just how it comes out of the database when it's looked up. Makes it run faster, which is important on a page that gets reloaded a lot.

Pocket 01-27-2011 12:17 PM

Ya thats understandable.
How are you doing today Coda?

Well. It appears that all of this has been answered... So, there is no longer a need for this thread.
I'm locking it.
